As I bought discounted Universal tickets online, I still need to get the HHN Stay & Scream ticket from Universal directly. To save time I was thinking on getting them before the day we visit Universal and just quickly drop by and get the tickets beforehand.

Is there some kind of short term parking if I just need to get tickets and be gone again?

EDIT: What about Celebrity Circle? Seems to be closest road to get to the tickets booths. Is that a publicly accessible street?

I know they have a pick up/drop off area by the buses and taxis, not sure if it's available for short term parking though.

No short term parking...only the garage. If someone can drop you off...drive around and then come back and pick you up, that would work. I'm not sure if Celebrity Circle is public access or not...you could get towed if you park somewhere you aren't supposed to. I think you should stick with designated parking areas to be safe.

I did this once, I bought tickets for Christmas gifts and they let me use valet for free but only for 30 min, so be quick :)

Thanks! I'll try that. My friend will wait in the car anyway.

Plus, I will use valet anyway on the day when we visit the parks.

I bought our annual passes online then pulled into royal pacific. My husband waited in the car while I ran in and printed them in lobby. Don't know if this will work for you. Good luck.

Don't use Celebrity Circle. Security will stop you and if you manage to get by security, they will tow the car. Across from Valet parking is a sign that says "Pickup/Drop Off, Movies, Taxis." As long as your friend stays in the car, you can park there.

OK, no Celecbrity Circle then... :-) I'll try Valet first, as it is slighty closer to the ticket booths but if they won't let me park there for a moment, I'll try the drop-off / pick-up lot, my friend will stay in the car.

BTW, is there a place in Citywalk that sells Universal tickets or are they only sold in front of the parks? If the latter, which park is closer from the parking? Or are they about the same distance?

I don't honk anywhere at city walk sells tickets, but the hotels have a kiosks to print I line purchases. That's what I was talking about before when we pulled up to royal pacific and I ran in to get tickets.

I just picked up my annual pass last week from the dining kiosk next to the theatre. Got sent there since guest services was busy. They should be able to help with tickets there.

Thanks! I can check there first, as it's on the way from Parking anyway.

Just wondering, did you pre-order your annual pass online or did you just show up and asked to buy one?

Because I won't be able to buy my ticket online as I already have park admission, so I cannot buy the discounted HHN ticket on its own online but have to show my park ticket at a ticket booth and then can get the discounted HHN ticket instead the full price one which is sold online. (Hope this makes sense)

We did something similar two weeks ago (I wanted to activate my AP and get our Star Card set up prior to park day number one), but we just waited until after 6 and paid $5 at the garage. It turned out to be well worth it, as we ended up spending almost 3 hours in the parks (after a 13 hour drive).
