Universal over Christmas/New year?

We will be in Florida staying 1 week in Windsor Palms and 1 week in Westin Imagine I Drive from 26 December to 11 January. As we are from UK, we have 14 day unlimited tickets for both parks. They have to be activated before end 2011. Which date/day in your opinion, would be the least crowded for our first visit. Is it much the same crowd wise, between Christmas & New Year? We have not been to Universal in at least 10years and are all big HP fans,so really looking forward to seeing WWoHP!!!!. My thinking is that after New Year the crowds might be lighter and we can visit several days whilst staying on I Drive. If anyone can give me some advise I would be really greatful. Oh, our party consists of 6 adults and 4 teenagers, we tend to stay together in parks. None of us mind doing single rider if needs be

Unfortunately all days from 12/26 until 1/1 are going to be jammed so it really won't matter which day you go to activate the tickets. Just get there as early as you can and hope for the best.

2nd this..Orlando themeparks as a whole are BEYOND BUSY between Christmas and New years.Pick a date, get to the park before opening and roll with it.

I agree. As a teacher, this was the only time I could go, so I am going with the mindset of as long as I get on harry potter FJ once I'll be happy.

mmm,we might go and activate the tickets and stay as far away from HP as possible, maybe go to the Studios and leave IOA until after New Year. Does that sound more sensible???:
