Universal Orlando ticket prices will they go down?

Last year we dId experience first hand the mass of people going from Universal to IoA around 3:30/4PM....we just wanted to use our ruby pass on Hagrids (since VC had never re-opened,) so headed there around 4, whew, the lines at the tapstiles were awful! I'd recommend going over earlier.
Also, they do start putting out barriers/closing off a lot of the streets in Universal studios around that same time. We were trying to get from Diagon to the Mummy, but all of that was already blocked off, had to go around the front and back. And the single rider line was not open at Mummy at that time....and since line was long, we didn't even ride it!

Universal first thing in the morning can be really great for getting lots done. So many rope drop IoA.
3 days should be great for getting lots done!!

Thank you for all your help. Do you think that AD will be the busiest of the two parks as people will want to avoid to buy a "short" ticket for US? Or that everyone will be doing mornings at US? Maybe we should be doing mornings at AA and afternoon at US?.

Forgot about that, but it is certainly true. And there are places in Simpsons area (Springfield USA) that you can't access as it nears closing time.

Also if you want a sit down dinner in City Walk around 4-9, especially 5-6 or for popular places, I would strongly suggest reservations. When everyone leaves US around 5pm and IoA around 8pm, places book up fast.

And in your schedule leave an extra 30 mins to actually get seated. Idk what it is about city walk but the fee places I’ve gone still ended up making me wait 20-30 mins even with an ADR to get seated…

Are the restaurants in the resorts any better than those in the parks or Citywalk?
I love Strong Water Tavern over at Sapphire Falls. You can take the boat from City Walk over to the resort; it's a pretty quick ride. It's significantly better than any restaurant inside the parks.

You can make reservations on the app and they're usually available day of, at least from my experience.

No definitely get to Studios early at least one day.- early opening if it’s offered there, if not then ride the train from IOA after you do the early entry rides there. Like others have said, we kinda forgot about the holding pens opening up. Walkways in Studios will become jammed and crowded around 3pm because HHN guests will have fenced off holding pens in several areas for different houses.

You want to aim to be mostly done at Studios by 2pm and making your way to IOA to avoid the crush that will transfer at 3-4:30pm.
