Went to the Orlando Informer Meetup event on Saturday and had a pretty good time...we arrived at the park at 4pm while the general public was still there.
This was my first time at Universal in 5-6yrs. Is the clientele there normally, ummm, how do I say this? So trashy and ratchet? After spending the previous two days at Disney I noticed a HUGE difference upon arriving at CityWalk and into the parks. Is this typical for Universal? It didn’t have a family friendly feel, and not that I was looking for that (2 gay men in their 30s with no kids here) but this was like shocking.
Seeing some of the clothes that were worn and just the general nastiness of some of the people was appalling. It felt like being at a low-rent Six Flags.
