Universal or Disney World???

I've never been to Universal... but I think I'll like Disney better.

It's quite difficult to decide, but I think I'd have to say Disney. Universal and IoA may have better rides, but Disney has a whole lot more to offer - the characters, the shops, the shows etc.

Well. I just read this whole thread and was kind of disgusted by all the arguing.

Anyway, I do like Disney better. I just like the atmosphere better, I guess. And I've always liked Disney movies better than Universal ones. And since a lot of things in the parks are based off the movies, I understand things around Disney a lot more. Like, I'll never see any merchandise of characters that I don't know in Disney World. But that happens all the time in Universal. The only reason why I would go to Universal instead of Disney would to go on more thrilling rides. But I would never do that, because if I want thrill rides, I could just drive 30 minutes to Six Flags.

Some of the details in Universal might be better than Disney, but it's the overall atmosphere of Disney that just...gets me.

I think Disney has better resorts, too. There's a lot more variety. I like the food better, also.

And yeah, someone mentioned how Universal makes fun of Disney in their commercials. I just find that really low of them to do, and I hope that the easily manipulated population of America doesn't get fooled by that.

i think universal has some better rides but disney world has a special magical atmosphere that you cant get anywhere else.

ye i supose disney has got a better atmosphere but i still prefer the rides at islands of adventure , to the rides at disney ! unless we go to mgm wer me nd ma cuzin ride tot bout 20 times

Now it's not really fair for me to say which is better cuz I have been to Universal once but I wasn't to keen on the whole rollercoaster thing.

but yea, I don't care if I'm the oldest person riding Dumbo, or screaming on TOT, i love Disney
