I see that for $20.00 you can buy the Express Plus ticket online. My question is:

Will this pass be dated? We know the date we are going, but will they honor the express pass when we get there???

Has anyone done this online? I read another post that some days they do not offer this pass.

Also, do you have to have your regular ticket already bought or can you buy these later?

Do they only sell so many Express Plus tickets in a day?

Hmmmm... I looked closer at this and see that the dates I will be there are "red" and not in "green" which means that they are not available.

Will Universal change the dates in the future from red to green???? Or is this a definite NO! for Express Pass for these days?

You should be able to buy your express pass plus tickets here: http://www.universalstudiosvacations.com/hotdeals/hotdeals.asp?referrer=un4
Just click on Theme Park Tickets Only, and put in your dates. Off peak tickets are only $10. Off peak begins 8/24. They will ask you (via e-mail, if you order on-line) if you have already purchased your park admission. If you tell them that you already have your park admission, they will note it on your reservation. The express passes have the date printed on them, and can only be used for that day.

Do they mail these to you? Has anyone had good luck using these booklets with the Express pass? Also, is pre-buying these tickets a good idea? I like to get as much done as I can BEFORE I leave.

What about rain? If we choose Universal studios, will a lot of attractions be closed??

Yes the Express Plus passes are mailed to you. The Express Plus passes are tickets, not booklets. I pre-purchased my express passes. I wanted to make sure they didn't sell out for my dates. I think they may cost more at the gate.

Most of Universal Studio's attractions are inside. Most of the attractions will be open if it rains.

One more question if you don't mind!!!

The Express Pass sounds like a definite yes!!! They are guarateed to work right? It's a ticket and you can use this ONCE only for each ride that it covers? How do they keep track of this, by computer?

Whoops! That's 3 questions!!!!

Yes, you can use it once for each attraction that has an express line. The ride attendants have scanners, and they scan your ticket as you go through.

Is there a list somewhere of which rides these cover....?

We have been to US/IOA before and since we are not thrill riders I dont think we would benefit from this at IOA very much.

On the other hand we love US and would love to bypass most lines....since we have been already (2x) I would like to know which attractions this pass works for (and how many) so I can determine if I want to spend the money or not!

Thanks

P.S. As you can see from my countdown clock I do NOT have much time left....if I order online do you think there would be a problem with my receiving these in time?

You guys are great....

So, you need to buy your park entrance ticket also with this, right? That would only make sense. I just want to make sure that they will send the park entrance ticket AND the express pass in the mail together!!! Thanks!

You can purchase them together. I only purchased the express passes, because I already have an annual pass.

I'm confused.

Can you use these passes with a one day ticket. You don't have to have the 2 and 3 day passes?

Can you also use the Express pass machines if you buy this ticket?

* Each Universal Express Plus Pass is valid for one (1) entry per Universal Express accessible attraction, per one (1) guest.
* Each Universal Express pass is valid for one (1) day for one (1) theme park. Guests may purchase an additional Universal Express Plus pass for the alternate theme park if they choose.
* Not valid for separately ticketed and/or special events.
* Universal Express Plus passes are date specific and non-refundable.
* Universal Express Plus passes are valid 1-HOUR AFTER PARK OPENING until park close

Front of the line access is not available on Pteranodon Flyers, Mt. Crumpit’s slide (during Grinchmas), and the front rows of Dueling Dragons and the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure. Universal Studios does not have front of the line access on the slide in Fivel’s Playland.

Can you use these passes with a one day ticket. You don't have to have the 2 and 3 day passes?

You can use the Express Plus with any park admission.

Can you also use the Express pass machines if you buy this ticket?

You can also use the free Express passes from the machines.

Do the Express Pass tickets sell out fast, the ones that you order online?

So it seems that only ONE ride (slide) in Universal Studios doesnt accept the Express Pass.....That would be GREAT.....seems well worth the money!

Hi, my wife and i are heading down to Orlando next week, and I am starting to get worried. I ordered two Univeral ORlando Bounus Passes, and 2 Express Plus Passes, and i chose the option of picking up the tickets at the electronic ceOsk. However after reading this thread it sounds as if the Express Plus Pass is a Book of some kind that I should have gotten in the mail. CAn someone please let me know, what is up. I would hate to be out 40 bucks...

Thanks

How long does it take from when you order until you receive your Express Passes...I ordered ours tonight and we are leaving the 20th. There was NO option of picking them up at an electronic kiosk or guest services.

I hope they make it here in time!:(
