Universal on 12/6

Hey guys, I was wondering with the official opening of New Fantasy Land and Test Track apparently reopening both on 12/6 if visiting universal would be a good strategy for low crowds? Will be in Orlando 27/11-12/12 and I was looking at visiting universal on that day.
Do you think there's a good possibility of low crowds that day?

It will be low without the grand opening.

I don't think what is going on at Disney that day will have much to do with Universal crowds, especially since everything "opening" that day will have already been open for awhile.

Thursday should be a good day for Universal though.

That's what day we will be there because we are avoiding opening day as well mk on the 7th.

We went to Universal/IOA for the first time last December and it was on a Thursday (we were there for 2 weeks and I can't remember if it was the first Thursday or the second Thursday of December that we were there). Universal was a ghost town. We walked right on everything. IOA was busier, but nothing had more than a 10-15 minute wait and most things were walk on. We even walked on Forbidden Journey, but the shops at WWoHP were pretty crowded (of course, the way they're designed, three people makes a crowd in most of them ). We went back to Universal/IoA the following Sunday and it was much more crowded (still manageable). We'll be there on the 12th!
