We stayed at the El Paso hotel in October for 3 nights, flew into Reus. We liked the hotel, well themed lovely pool, the 60's diner was great for lunch and not dear. The breakfast and dinner buffet package were included and had a good selection, at breakfast you could pay a small supplement for hot food 3 euros I think, we piled a plate full and shared it - you probably shouldnt do that.
The air con didnt seem to keep the rooms very cool but then we like it pretty cool at night, coming from central scotland (not far from Highlander actually).
We would certainly go again but would book it independantly.
Dont expect american service, whilst the staff are friendly the service is typically spanish and they smoke everywhere.
The beauty of staying on site is the express pass, we liked it so much I have just booked a night in the Hard Rock Hotel for next month.
We spoke to people who had cought the train to Barcelona, said it was very easy and cheap.
