Choice Hotels, bait and switch?

I purchased 1,000 points today from Choice Hotels for $12.80 to add to my balance of 7,258 points in order to get a $25 Disney gift card for 8,000 points. No problem. When I went back in to purchase the gift card it said I had already redeemed points within the last 48 hours and I can't use them at the moment. Which is complete BS. I am wondering if this is a bait and switch from Choice Hotels, and if anyone else out there has had such an experience?

I doubt it's a bait and switch...why not just call them and ask about the discrepancy?

I will. I just thought I would ask here. I certainly haven't used any points in the last 48 hours.
