Universal Meal Deal

All of the themeparks have rules that are enforced. That's like saying, "I can line jump or curse or stand up on a ride or shoplift or share an entrance ticket because they can't do anything."

na na na na na na....can't catch me! I'm the ginger bread man...or actually, a dancing banana it seems.

I totally agree with you. I think people just do it because they just sort of know no one will do much about it. I personally think it is wrong and that is why we dont do it. I dont think spending $10 on unlimited meals for a day is much to ask from the park. :goodvibes

i live by the rules, that's the type of person i am.

it is annoying when some, who are the rule breakers, takes great pleasures in encouraging others to do the same.

six flags near where i live, enforces the rules.

they hire security and active police to handle issues when laws are broken or park rules are violated.

shoplift, taken to the police station and sf presses charges.
line jump, evicted from park, picture taken if you are banned for a length of time from the park, you return prior, arrested for trespassing.
if you have a season pass, it is voided out and no refunds on what you paid for it.

physical contact in a negative way with park employees or other guests, sf presses charges and you leave with the cops.

sf isn't the best park but it is okay for some of the shows and rides.
they are really trying to change their image and make it a family type park. in doing so, they enforce their rules and policies now.

Yeah, I think we're preachin' to the choir. Luckily, none of us will have to worry about how the rule is enforced. I'm one of those kind of people who feel guilty when a policecar pulls up near me. I know I haven't done anything wrong but still feel nervous.
:scared1:

We (dh, me, dd9, dd7) tried the 2 park + citywalk meal deal last Monday, March 19th. We also bought 2 refillable mugs. It was ok for my dh and myself. However, dd9 didn't like the kid meal choices and dd7 didn't eat enough to make it worth it. DD9 wanted sweet and sour chicken at one restaurant but it wasn't available on the kids menu. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered it and traded her for her hotdog meal. What a shock! Her hot dog was the size of a smoky link in a hotdog bun that was about 1/2 the size of a regular bun. We ate dinner at Latin Quarter. They handed us the regular menus, but when we told them we were on the meal plan we were given a "limited menu" consisting of 6 items. The food was very good but I would have ordered something else had we not been on the meal plan. The next day we didn't buy the meal plan, had exactly what we wanted and spent about the same amount of money as the day before. The refillable mugs were a good deal because the next day we were able to refill them for $1.59. I'd recommend trying it one day to see if it works for your family. Overall we didn't lose money on the meal deal (my dh probably came out a little ahead, where as dds didn't).

we went to USF last week & purchased the 2 park meal deals (9 adults ,, but that included 2 10 yr olds having to buy adult passes.). it was WAY worth it! There wasn't a line at the gates yet ,when we arrived, so we went through customer service at front of park .B ut you could also buy them when you first get your meal. you get the wrist bands at the restaurants.

the 1st meal "I" chose was chicken dinner ( regularly $8.99) & that included dessert (not sure what that added). the dessets were cookies, a choc cake & lemon cake. (the SAME desserts all over the parks). Also went back throught the line for fruit plate which was huge!
it was really great not having to look at pricing!
each time we passed one of the places to eat from we went through the line for cookies! great snack for later on. ( i had an ECV which also served as our pack mule :upsidedow )
we had dinner at Pat O'Briens . meals ranged from about $9 to $14 (jambalaya) , so the pass was very worth while. OUr server wasn't really that great at Pat O'briens , we had to wait a considerable amount of time till she brought us the correct menu's,, plus some incorrect orders, , resulting in our extra drink bill being comp'd.:)
oh, also the citiwalk meal deal restaurants give you the refills on the meal drink cup!
& remember the meal deals end IN the park 1/2 hour before the parks close!

Ah, when did Citywalk Restaurants become part of the Meal deal?

Ah, when did Citywalk Restaurants become part of the Meal deal?

Last fall at some point after the parks changed to their fall schedule which has them closing at 6PM. I am not really sure if its all the time or only nights the parks close at 6PM. As I remember it could only be done in the evenings though so you could not go and eat in City walk for launch.

in the website where you order the meal plans, it is noted it is not valid for city walk.

it was last year for a specific time period but not now in the $5 off promo deal going on now.

the city walk portion was for a select menu at certain resturants in city walk for dinner time.

Will your AAA discount work when you purchase the meal deal at US/IOA...I tried to purchase the meal deal for $14.99 through the mastercard deal and it wouildn't let me ( didn't use the AAA code). Is this just an add on feature if you book the 2 park tickets?? thanks for all your help!!!
