Universal in December

I know I'm nuts. Due to school and work schedules, we really can only do late December very early January. Everything I read is Beyond packed. Do you think it makes a difference if we went 12/20-25, 12/25-12/30 or 12/31-1/5.
I really want to see Frankenstein. We did August last year and it was unbearable with the almost 100* temps. I am thinking maybe 2 park days.

Frankenstein will be at the new park, so it's expected to be beyond packed regardless.

We've been to the current parks between 12/20 to 12/30. The crowd is noticeably larger starting 12/24.

The days leading up to Christmas won't be quite as bad as the week of Christmas to new years.

And if you're looking to go to Epic, it won't matter, it'll be packed either way
