Universal Hotels 11/3/07 all booked?

I was looking to spend 1 one night at HRH 11/3 and just called and all 3 hotels are booked. I thought this would be a slow period. Does anyone know what is happening to cause this activity to fill all 3 hotels.

Any chance space will open up????

When I check the website, Royal Pacific and Portofino are available. Since it is a Saturday night, all kinds of things might be going on.

My guess is that the Halloween Horror Nights last hurrah has booked up the hotels pretty good. We will be there through Nov. 6 and expect things to drop off for Monday and Tuesday.

Since HHN will be over by then, it's a safe bet that there's a convention in town...we tend to get a lot of those during the "off season" being the second biggest convention destination in the country. November brings in some of the biggest conventions we'll see in Orlando all year. It's nothing like the home builders show in February that draws 100,000 or so delegates but the week before Thanksgiving, both the big theme park confab (IAAPA) and the entertainment technology convention (LDI) will be in town bringing in an extra 30,000 attendees and their families.
