Universal Gift Card?

We have a birthday during our trip and want to purchase a Universal gift card. What is the easiest quickest way to get one once inside Universal Orlando? Guest Services? Ticket Window? Also has anyone purchased them online? What are the shipping charges? Thanks!!!

They sell $25 Universal gift cards at our local Kroger. I doubt that Kroger is unique so you might try checking your local supermarket or other store that carries a selection of gift cards.

Just a warning about the gift card...It was a real hassle for us to get it exchanged for usable Universal dollars. Make sure you go to Guest Services at the entrance of the park to exchange the card. The info on it says it can be exchanged at the ticket counter, but the girl there had no idea how to do it, so she told us we could just use it like a gift card at the stores. When we got to a store (at the other end of the park) with it, they couldn't take it and told us we had to change it in at the Universal Studios store back at the front of the park. When we got there, they couldn't take it either and sent us to guest services back at the entrance where they were able to exchange it. It was a pain! BUT my daughter loves the E.T. she has to show for all the effort.

All I want is a gift card or Universal Dollars??? to be used toward purchases at either park or CityWalk.

Don't want to give him cash, but don't want to make it stressfull either.

Do you mean Universal Cards I would buy here at home? Certainly not the ones I get at the Ticket Window right? But I can get them at the ticket windows? Thanks!

A friend purchased an actual gift card for us. It can be used to purchase tickets, but we'd already bought our tickets online. In order to use the gift card at the stores, you need to trade it in for Universal dollars (cash with Spiderman and Scooby on it...like Disney dollars). As long as you let them know to trade it in at Guest Services as soon as they enter, it shouldn't be a problem!

Unfortunately, no. You can purchase them at Guest Services at either park though, when you are there.
