Universal for the "larger" crowd

We'll be going to Universal for the first time this year, and I'm a little concerned. My whole family is big. My son is 6'2 and 220, my dh is 6'4 and 230. I am 5'11 and on the higher end of the 200's. What can we expect at Universal...Disney seems so easy, but I hear Universal is not as..um...accomodating when it comes to ride seating.

You will have no problem at all on all the rides. I'm 6'-2" 280 and fit just fine. The Hulk and Dueling dragons coasters have a special row( Row #6) for larger adults. The seat belts are a little bigger and doubled up for your protection. Our family has been to numerous parks and the only one that did not accomidate the Hulking bodies was Cedar Point. I missed a few roller coasters there.

My BIL is 5'11 and 300 lbs. He did not fit on Hulk, Dueling Dragons & the drop ride.
The rest he was fine.
They have seats that you can test out before getting in line.

Besides Hulk & DD, Mummy has a seat out front also

FYI, in addition to Row 6, Row 3 is more accomodating on Dueling Dragons and Hulk.

Also, ET has special bench seats that are accomodating but I wish I could sit on the bike seat!

The bigger coasters Hulk,Dueling Dragons very few people will not fit,however Revenge of the Mummy is one that bigger people might have issues.I'm 5'10 around 200 pounds and I feel crammed in tightly on the Mummy!!

We just came back from Universal in April and I was able to sit in a bike seat, not all that comfortable though, 250 lbs
