Do you guys think my wife and I would need UE during the middle of the week in late September? We are planning on two/three days at US/IOA and were thinking of staying onsite for the perk.

Is it worth it?

Probably not...September isn't usually busy especially during the week. But...if you are staying onsite, it's still nice to have especially with the new coaster opening.

We were thinking of going in September, and I realized that Rock the Universe will be going on the weekend we were looking at (September 11 & 12). Does this draw big crowds? I would have thought so, and I was surprised at the low price I was quoted for the room.

I think RTU draws a pretty good crowd but remember...it's from 4pm to 1am so during the day shouldn't be too bad but towards the afternoon the crowds will arrive.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have to buy a special ticket if you want to go to RTU, or is it included in the days admission?

Rock the Universe is a separately ticketed event that includes admission to Universal Studios after 4pm for the date stated on the ticket. The Rock the Universe ticket does not include entrance to Universal Studios before 4pm or entrance to Islands of Adventure.

Rock the Universe is a separately ticketed event that includes admission to Universal Studios after 4pm for the date stated on the ticket. The Rock the Universe ticket does not include entrance to Universal Studios before 4pm or entrance to Islands of Adventure.

The park closes at 6pm for day guests...after 6pm, you will have to have a wrist band in order to stay in the park.
