Hi everyone! Im just wondering if anyone has ever bought one of these passes, as a friend of mine has told me that at the entrance to Universal you can purchase a 1 day express pass ticket to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Im unaware of these tickets, as last time we visited we just bought the standard package tickets, but, after witnessing some of the queues on our trip in August 2007 im a bit sceptical on going without any kind of Fastpass.

Ive had a look at the Universal website but I cant seem to find a price, im not sure if you buy a standard ticket and then buy the express pass seperatley, or whether it comes as a package ticket. Can anyone help me with some prices, and their experience with this ticket? Is it worth it, as we're going at the start of July, around the 6-7th, and I have no idea what the crowds are like at this time.

Also, does anyone know if you can still purchase them at the gate?

Thankyou very much, and sorry if this question has been asked before and im just repeating others questions, I truly am an amateur Orlando tourist.

Dan.

anything dealing with Universal, you may be better off posting it on the Universal board.. there are many there that would be more than happy to answer all your questions :goodvibes
To answer some of your question, yes, the express passes are sold at the gate as well as prior by going on line. Prices will vary depending on the day you want them. The higher the season & crowds, the higher the price for the pass.

Here is the link to the Express Plus pass price schedule. Just find the date you're going and you will be able to see the cost of the one park and two park EP. I would advise waiting until you arrive before purchasing as the EP is non-refundable and date specific. Also...you can purchase the EPs at the gate but you can also purchase them at several stores in both parks. I would do that since the line should be very short.

Ahh thankyou :) I wasnt too sure whether to post this on this board anyway, but there were a few questions surrounding Universal Studios and other parks so I thought i'd give it a shot. I'll post on the Universal Boards now.

Thankyou for your help anyway.

Thankyou Metro West. I didnt notice your post when I previously replied. I'll take a look at that price guide now. Thankyou once again.

If you stay onsite at a Universal hotel, you won't need to buy separate tickets for EP. You can simply show your room key for unlimited access to all attractions that have an EP. It will instantly spoil you. :cloud9: We tried it once and will never visit US/IOA without staying onsite.
