Universal employee discount?

Our college kid will be starting an internship at Seaworld. Hasn't had an orientation yet. Can anyone tell me if employees are able to escort friends or family in for free at Seaworld and Universal, or if they are able to get tickets for them at a reduced price and what it might be? Trying to plan ahead for a trip this spring. Thank you for any help you can provide!

I can't speak of Universal, but I know how Busch Gardens works and maybe it is the same. A good friend of mine works at Busch Gardens once a year for Howl o Scream. He is allowed a certain number of discounted tickets to the parks, and he also gets a limited number of free tickets to the parks as well. He logs into their website and then chooses what he wants, and prints them off. Then you take that to the ticket window and exchange for a real ticket.

I know this isn't what you asked for, but maybe it will help.

I think they are all under the same ownership so it might be the same for Seaworld employees. Not sure the perks would be the same for a college intern but we are keeping our fingers crossed! Thanks!

SeaWorld and the Busch parks are under the same management...Universal is no longer park of the Blackstone Group. Universal will go over all the available benefits during orientation.

If he is working at Seaworld, he can get in free to Universal but not a guest. I don't believe that he gets a discount at all for guest tickets at Universal. I'm not sure about Busch Gardens discounts. I do know that he gets in free at BG but have no idea about discounts for purchasing tickets there.

I work for UO and we get in to Sea World and Busch Gardens free, but we cannot get a guest into those parks for free; however they do have a bit of a discount. Per our TM website:

Busch Gardens: Team members get in free with UO ID.
$4 off per person on 1 day admission for up to 6 people
10% off select merchandise

Sea World: Team members get in free with UO ID. 10% off guest tickets (limit 6).

That was copied and pasted from the site, but I don't know how Sea World does it. I can't imagine it would differ that much.
