We have done many Disney trips and used the GAC for our son. He has severe autism and it has helped a lot. We have always had great experiences on the rides. We also use a wheelchair for him and sometimes that takes us to the wheelchair entrances. Our next trip we are planning will be short 2 days Universal, 2 days Disney. It will be our first trip to Universal. I am trying to figure out where to stay and keep it within budget. Ideally we would stay at a Universal hotel to get unlimited Express pass. But we could save a lot of money staying offsite. I don't think a split stay would make much sense for such a short trip. My question is, how does the Express pass compare to Attraction Assistance pass. We are planning Thanksgiving week, so I know it will be busy. Thoughts?

universal TM will give you a set time you can return for the ride.
if the line is less than 30 minutes, you go in the express line.

guest services will customize your special pass for you and explain the procedures for the guest card.

you are given a card that the TM at each ride will either write the return time for your group or allow you to procedure directly to the ride.

Thank you for the info. I guess I am wondering if anyone has done both and how they compare. Was the attraction assistance pass good enough or would it be too hectic and busy and we would have to end up buying Express passes.
