Universal Orlando is considering introducing a NEW Annual Pass.
This NEW Pass would be introduced as an option in addition to
the current Preferred Annual Pass you are using and not as a replacement.

We are contacting select Preferred Annual Pass holders
and asking for their assistance in developing the new Pass.
Attached you will find a survey that will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Please rest assured that this survey is for research purposes only.
The information you provide is strictly confidential.
No one will contact you nor will you be obligated to
purchase anything as a result of your participation.

You are our most valued customers and we value your opinion.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
The Universal Orlando Annual Pass Department

So what are they asking?

I just renewed my Preferred pass because I will be going back in May. But for the wife and kid, I'll wait and get them a 15 month AAA power pass for our trip in July.

Basically they give you three passes with different prices and benefits. You then choose which of the three you would buy or if you wouldn't buy either. There are about 10 sets of these. Then they ask for suggestions on what else you would like in a pass. That's about it!

examples of benefits are: express booklets, continental breakfast, annual passes to other parks like Sea World and Busch Gardens, free admission to themed nights, discounts on food, hotels, parking, etc.

How did you get the survey? Was it mailed? E-mailed? I haven't gotten anything. Just curious.

I'll post in the morning. I copied some of the pages for the survey.

It was emailed with a password to access the link.

Several of the options were priced at $299. I did not select any of these.

I love US but we have Wet N Wild and Sea World here in Texas, so when we visit Orlando it is for WDW and US. It looks like US is trying to go the way of WDW by bundling several parks into their AP to compete with WDW and promote the either or choice.

We will always split our time between the 2 so Im not willing to spend $300 on an AP that keeps me out of WDW.
