I've heard lots of people here talk about FOTL, but I've also heard quite a few people point out that it isn't really "front" of the line. I assumed the term was invented by DIS'ers or other visitors, so I was surprised to see it used on the Universal website.
From the Ticket FAQ section:

- What is Universal Express Plus, and how can I get it?

Universal Express Plus is a way for you to enjoy all the attractions & shows, at either theme park, without having to stand in the regular line, completely at your convenience. Simply go to each attraction whenever you wish throughout your day at the park and gain front of the line access one time for each attraction.

we know they do.

that's why the diser s say fotl.

its a universal thing they created

Front is definitely open to interpretation, but the dictionary defines the front as the beginning part...or "the area, location, or position directly before or ahead." I think front and beginning are maybe not quite the same thing, but are easily confused :confused3 ...but I'd rather be in what they define as the front than the back...and definitely not the END of the line, which would be last. :teeth: :rolleyes1 :cool1:

It's still fantastic!!! :thumbsup2

Wow, it's nice that DISers could've taken the credit for that term, but we can't... :teeth:

One of our regulars, NOTatourist, will let you know in no uncertain terms that there is really only ONE FotL... and that's with the tour. I took it a few years ago and believe me, it is TRUE FRONT OF THE LINE.... :cool1:

LOL, well, actually, I just so happened to be ON Dictionary.com because my son had vocabulary words to look up...so really, it only took a minute! :teeth:

I guess I wondered how they justified it for anyone who might question it...because clearly, everyone can't go to the FRONT or beginning of the line, cuz nobody would ever actually get ON the ride! :confused3 Now, clearly, I have way too much time on my hands for coming up with this stuff...

I have to remember to look for the "express pass" entrance, NOT the "FOTL" entrance :rotfl2:
