O.K. y'all,
As my trip gets closer and closer (Sept. 8) my questions get stranger and stranger. I have not seen these two questions posted here before. Are you ready?
1. Are there vending machines on board the Wonder that sell cans of Coke? There is nothing I like better than a can of Coke first thing in the morning. If not, then I will make sure to bring them on board with me. Gotta be cans....I don't like bottles.
2. Are there lights on the verrandahs? I love to read after the kids are in bed. I have been known to stay up until 2-3:00 in the morning reading. Are there "porch lights?"

No vending machine's on board. BUT cans of soda can be purchased at any of the bars. Just be sure to request a CAN and not fountain soda. You can also order cans of soda in a package deal (info will be in your room) from room service to keep in your fridge. Of course the most economical way would be to bring a 12 pack from home.

I've never had a verandah --- but possibly you could pick up one of those inexpensive battery operated lights that actually attach to your book to read at night (just in case).
:D

The verandahs to have lights on them. They are not super bright. Some people on the boards have said they weren't bright enough to read by but DH didn't have a problem.

I couldn't read on my verandah one night at about 4 a.m. when I couldn't sleep, and I went hunting around the ship for somewhere to sit outside and read. Tried deck 4 in those blue chairs -- no, they took up the cushions to wash the chairs and deck and everything was wet. I wished I had a reading light with me so I could read on my verandah. On my next cruise I will bring one.

thanks everyone...I will be bringing cans of Coke and a booklight!! You guys are great.

The lights on the verandah were fine by me to read by...I also saw my mom out there a few late nights reading too...
