Unique Items???

Clearly a DFTW is unique in and of itself.... BUT... what does everyone think their most unique wedding aspects were???

I think so many things about Disney are unique, it's hard to narrow it down!!!

One thing I'm excited about is the lighted ice sorbets for the reception. I have never seen anything like that before and I think it will give it the "wow" factor.

I loved the package..it was easy to have everything virtually planned..and I loved having my reception in Palo

This is tough! There are too many things, IMHO.

I totally agree about the DP...but I'd add "free" fireworks. Sure, you're paying Disney prices for the event, but they don't charge you extra for the fireworks (unless you don't have tickets to EPCOT!). But the WISHES fireworks are "free!"

Then, I'd say the locations are just amazing! I'm sure there are other venues that are just as gorgeous, but Disney gives you such a variety to choose from. And if you have a reception and a DP or a Welcome Party, you can really mix it up while staying in one place!

You have so many options to create an event that is perfect for you and your DF. And regardless of your budget, there's so much magic at Disney already, that it'll be amazing regardless of the size of the event!

We were already committed to the big family affair in January when we decided to do the legal thing via an Escape in June '08, and honestly, afterward I was content! It had been beautiful and magical and I had a blast. It was pure and simple love and Disney magic, which is a perfect combination!

And I totally agree with Betsy. The way things were synched together through DFTW made the whole process that much better!

This is the absolute TRUTH!!!! I had never considered a vow renewal before I found this board. I came here after seeing the pics in Carrie's signature then I got hooked on reading this board and looking at everyone's pictures. Now I have total VR fever!

I agree with everyone. All of my guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too. Where else can you get a variety of venues with different themes, a dessert party with fireworks and the characters! Disney really offers unique weddings. The cool thing is that if you look at all the TR's and PJ's nobody has the same wedding. Everyone has a very unique wedding even if they are held at the same locations. If you go to any other place in your home town, your wedding is going to be the same as everyone else.

All of my guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too.

I heard the same thing! DH's Step-father comes from a small-business-owning Jewish family, and has been to some AMAZING weddings, and he said this was by far the best! We were stunned, because he does not give out compliments lightly!

Our Illuminations Dessert party. Lit sorbet sculptures, slipper dessert and the butler...everyone got such a huge kick out of him. Oh and my chocolate mickey hats favors...yum!
