Unique Grocery Items

We do the same but in the opposite direction. My wife is in the UK right now and I can guarantee she will be bringing back a few dozen packs of Cadbury chocolate buttons. She would have also brought back Marmite, which is available in the US but outrageously expensive, but when relatives came to visit us they brought a few jars of it over. Same with Bisto and Bird's Custard Powder. Iced Gems and Twiglets are also must-haves.

When she flew over her big requests from England were Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Oreo mint cookies and Jack Daniels

Some one mentioned peanut butter MM's are they different to the peanut ones we get here as I quite like those and would quite like to try peanut butter ones.

The peanut butter ones only have the peanut butter in them not the nuts like the ones we get here. Not sure why they have never taken them over here :confused3 I have given them to people who say they don't like nuts and they are addicted.

SERIOUSLY SO GOOD.

Cheetos
Coconut Patties (DH loves these, similar to Bounty)
Suncream

Now I'm gonna have to try peanut butter M&Ms, how have I missed these? :confused3

We have a few
Twinkies
Stove Top Stuffing
Mountain Dew (the stuff over here doesnt compare)
Pepperidge Farms Cookies (the ones with macadamia (sp) nuts)
Lifesaver sweets
Seasonal M&Ms (Halloweeen ones for us this time)

Also be sure to try some Easy Cheese (cheese in a spray can). It's an experience :thumbsup2

Forgot about goldfish. DD loves those - just opened the last packet we brought home and we don't go again until october.

Can anyone recommend a US shop to buy from online in the UK?

Lays sour cream and chive chips
Ranch dip
Carrot cake
Cinnabons
Cheetos
Minute Maid lemonade
Half and half - love that stuff!
Seeded bagels - can't remember the name but they are from Winn-Dixie and are gorgeous
The absolute must for us is a Disney cake - lasts us a long time and is the best ever.

We buy from www.americansweets.co.uk

You can buy on-line, but as it's only a 15 minute drive from us we go in person. Obviously it's much more expensive than in the US, but they often have some very reasonable special offers. They definitely have the goldfish crackers!

Thanks for the link - the crackers are an ok price but i'd have to pay shipping - i'd be there all the time if I lived nearby!
