I agree with the ealier poster who commented on generational names. Honestly,the majority of names posted here don't seem unique to me at all; in fact, they seem rather trendy. What we like, our parents didn't ... perhaps that's why we like them

. And, once it hits a television show, movie, or celebrity, watch out....it will soar in popularity! Years ago, I like Jasper, a good old fashioned name. Sandra Bullock's boyfriend in 27 days (or something like that) was Jasper! Today, there are 2 young Jaspers at our rather large church. Madison for girls, strictly a Splash! with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks creation; today, a top 10 name.
What I like now, Oliver (kind of popular) Duncan (still a bit trendy), Griffin (very trendy), and Everett ( for C. Everett Coop. Rising in popularity, but not "trendy" yet).
