Unhooking toad upon arrival

Upon our arrival at FW where is a good location to stop and unhook our toad from our motorhome? I don't want to pull it all the way to the campsite and block the road for 10 minutes while I unhook.

I assume I could leave it attached while going through the drive-thru check-in.

Is there a location beyond the check-in area where I could pull over and unhook?

Just after you pass the checkin station, on the way to the loops, there is a signed pull-off for hook and unhook.

Some times a little busy at check-in and after. We unhook in the overflow lot and then check-in and go direct to the site. Have use the turn off and is ok also.

If you checked in after unhooking I assume there is a driveway off the entrance road into the overflow lot prior to getting into the drive-thru check-in lanes?

Is it ok to park anywhere in the lot.....so long as I am not blocking anything or anybody?

So I assume you walked into the check-in office from where you unhooked?

We have only been to Ft. Wilderness once previously, in 1999......and we were pulling a popup camper.
I remember little to nothing about the check-in area for some reason.

You check in first, then either go straight and use the cut offs or turn right towards the overflow lot. In there it's kind of a free for all, most people are courteous when parking, packing or whatever. It's large enough to unhook. But you must enter through the check-in archways before entering the overflow lot. Can't get into the lot any other way. As for check in, they will do it at the arch, even if you're early, then they will direct you to the overflow lot. There is a concierge in the building to the left when pulling in.

BTW Does anyone know if Pappa Johns is still delivering to the Fort?

1) At Deluxe Resorts, FW, delivered to Front Desk or Bellmen.
2) At other resorts, delivered usually to your room.
3) At DVC resorts, the delivered almost always to your room.


NOTE: WDW is so large, that there might be different pizza
franchises that would serve different hotel addresses. Just
call the pizza numbers listed, and if there is another franchisee
that delivers to your hotel, they either transfer you or give you
the proper franchisee's number.
