Unfair :(

I didn't say anyone was lying. I only implied that most posters on this board have a pro Disney bias(which of course it should, it's a Disney board) But that doesn't mean you have to look at everything through mouse shaped glasses.

I'm not sure people reporting their wait times for buses count as seeing things through mouse shaped glasses, though.

My experience jives with a lot of the other posts I've seen here: It is the exception, not the rule, when I wait more than 10 min at my hotel for a bus.
Ditto if leaving the parks at any time OTHER than park closing.

Park closing....likely more like 20 to 30 min. In our 7 to 10 day stay, that probably happens 3 times (Epcot once, MK once, and DHS once).

Of course, and they should offer incentives such as early entry, late closing, maybe even a discounted park admission, free day Park admission for each day purchased, or full park admission included with every stay

however it is not right for Disney to penalize people for not staying in their hotels as they currently are doing.

People staying off site are paying the same exact amount for their Park admission as on site guests yet they are being basically shut out of the FP system and only get scraps (if there are any left by the time they get in the Park)

Q. Is FastPass+ service complimentary?
A. Yes. FastPass+ service is complimentary for FastPass+ eligible Guests with valid theme park admission.

Actually I usually just walk right back to our room or hop a boat or our car depending on where we are. Depending on where I am staying and which park I'm visiting that evening I'm back on my balcony enjoying a beverage before you've made it to your car. Cheers!

Not necessarily true. It depends on what resort you are at. As myself and many others said in another thread, even with having to get to the TTC from the MK I can get back to my off site house in 15-25 minutes. It can take that long or longer standing in line and then busing to a couple of the Disney resorts.

Why isn't it right? DVC members get perks that I don't. Is that not right? Annual Passholders gets perks that daily guests don't. Is that not right?

Sorry, but this is the way of the world. Disney would be stupid to offer the same incentives to offsite guests as they do to onsite guests.

if Disney wanted to offer perks to on site guests, they should offer included Park admission (at a discount) for the length of stay with every reservation.

They shouldn't handicap offsite visitors that are paying the same exact amount for Park admission as on site guest.

You do realize that the cost of admission would just be added to the cost of the room (at probably about 50-100 dollars a day). And every single annual passholder would now have a strong incentive to stay OFF site, since they'd get no benefit from the significantly higher room rates.

People here like to complain about Disney management being incompetent, but I don't think there's anyone anywhere in authority who'd think this is a great idea for the company.

Nov 2

Red Roof Inn 59.95
All Stars $133.34
Pop Century $144.00
Art Of Animation $149.00

We always stay at the Pop and we've never paid that much! You really have to have blinkers on, if you're paying rack rate for a room at Disney.

We'll be there Nov 30th to Dec 8th. Most nights we're under 100 dollars, a little over on the weekends. Anywhere between 89 to 119 dollars and I'm a happy camper.

Yes, it's more expensive than a discount chain. But discount chains don't have guests decorating their resort room windows for the holidays. They don't have food courts (you usually have to drive over to a nearby Wendys or McDonalds). They don't have movie nights beside the pools. They don't have CMs organizing games for the kids in the water. Heck, they don't have CMs at all! Personally, it's the smiling faces of the staff that keep drawing me back.

I've stayed in discount chains. I've stayed in nicer chain hotels, too. And high end resorts.

And, in my experience, the Pop is priced correctly for the amenities it offers. I'll be paying just slightly more per night to stay in London at a Best Western next spring.

I'm not saying it is gross, but that you are sleeping on a table. I am sorry nothing about that says comfort or great way to end my fun day while on vacation. Hey everyone I got to sleep on a bed that is also our table by day....what's next a mattress in the bathtub:rotfl:

I think I missed something somewhere... why are we talking about sleeping on tables? On Disney property, I've only stayed at the Pop and the Beach Club, so far.

Ask the Annual passholders how they feel about FP+, they're screwing them too

They are referring to the fold down beds at AoA

Honestly, based on the number of complaints I read here, I rather doubt that.

oh yeah, those food courts are a blessing!! So cheap.. and the selection, OH THE SELECTION of various foods

As for including Park Admission with the price of the room...of course the nightly rate would go up but AS AN INCENTIVE to stay on property that admission would be at a discounted rate than buying the tickets at the gate.

As many "experts" on here have stated, it's not about Park Admission, it's about getting people on site, out of lines and spending money, correct?

Oh, I remember reading about that now! I thought they were quite clever.

Then again, I'd rather sleep on a bed that folds up into a table, than on the floor (ick!). My son has slept on several hotel floors, because the thought of sharing a bed with his big sister horrifies him. I count us lucky we haven't brought bedbugs home on him yet. (The wee nasty critters are potentially even more likely to be found in carpets, than in beds.)

Is this necessary? Because someone else likes something you don't, do you have to be so belittling?

Not everyone feels the same way you do about Disney, clearly, but you don't have to be rude.

not at all, go find the FP+ thread and look at all the Annual Passholders complaining that they are being screwed by the FP+ system too.

Sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense. I can't be bothered to go searching that thread, but if they feel that way, then they have no idea what they're talking about.

What you and some others fail to seep through your mind that this is only during testing.. I pointed you to a link where Disney THEMSELVES stated that FP+ will be available to anyone with any "VALID PARK ADMISSION".
