Unexpected stalking success - Christmas week!

We originally booked Boulder Ridge at our 11 month mark, but then the construction reports started. About 6 weeks ago, over about 3-4 days, I was able to piecemeal the first 6 days of our Christmas trip into a 1 bedroom at Copper Creek. I was surprised to get that much. I figured the last 2 nights were a lost cause, and we'd be living in a construction zone. I didn't waitlist, and I haven't been stalking regularly.

Tonight I randomly decided to check availability, and the last 2 nights (and only those 2 nights) were available! I'm completely stunned at catching Copper Creek availability for Christmas week, and we now have our merge request in to combine the two reservations! Super excited to splurge on a 1 bedroom and avoid renovation chaos.

Congratulations! I also found 3 nights in a CCV studio the week of Christmas. I booked it immediately. Shortly after, 1 more night was available. I got 4 nights in a CCV studio a month before Christmas. I was shocked. I ended up needing one more night because of my flights and I found another unicorn, - night value studio at AKV. We will have to switch resorts for one night but I feel like I won the lottery!
