Unexpected DVC vacation opportunity

We are planning a stay at WDW for Sept. 2011 with family and friends (just after the DVC Member Cruise). I was thinking on getting an AKV Grand Villa because of the Savannah view, which would have eaten up all of our 2011 and 2012 points.

Now my uncle said that they don't want us to lose all our points because of them coming (even though they insist on paying their share of the stay). So I'm looking at booking a OKW Grand Villa which would leave us with over 100 points for 2011.

This provides us with am unexpected opportunity do book another stay for next January.

I sent in a reservation request for 3 nights in a standard view studio at Kidani (second choice: standard view studio at BWV) and then another 3 nights in a studio (hopefully oceanview) at Vero Beach.

Waiting for an answer from MS now.

Is there a reason you want the studio and not an ocean view inn room at VB? Yes, the studio has a sofa and 1 bed, but studios with ocean views are very few. I think you're more likely to get the garden or parking lot view.
