Love this one!:thumbsup2

Now Robin had delegated just 2 jobs for me in advance of our sailing. One was i buy an extra power strip for use on the ship. (which i forgot about by the way.;)), but more importantly that i purchase the trip insurance. While i've never been a fan of purchasing the trip insurance ( to me they're selling fear;)), but i totally understand the need for it because i myself have had 2 heart surgeries in the past so you never know what might happen and its best to be safe.:upsidedow
Well we had just taken a WDW family vacation about 3 1/2 months prior to this cruise and it was my intention to check on cruise trip insurance as soon as we got back from that trip..(We'd still be within the 90 period that you're still able purchase insurance). But after getting back from WDW i just kind of forgot about it.:rolleyes1:guilty: So as the time got closer to cruise, i just ignored the situation hoping Robin wouldnt mention it.popcorn::
Sure enough , the day before we left she says to me, "wheres the paperwork for the trip insurance?":scared: There must have been an unbelievable amount of panic on my face because she right away said "YOU DIDNT GET THE INSURANCE??".:upsidedow
I tried to turn it into a running joke all week on the cruise.."see? now we have extra money to buy stuff".:rotfl: "we dont need no stinking trip insurance".:rotfl: But it was a sensitive subject and i'll wager i wont be in charge of that detail for any future cruises.:rolleyes1

:lmao: Come on do you really think she was that surprised? That is why she only gave you two things to do.

After a nap we strolled the ship and took some mandatory photos.:cutie:

ran into fellow Dissers Char, Nathan and family on Pirate night/pirate:

ever since the luggage fees had gotten crazy we have chose not to do the "pirate dress up" thing anymore. which is a shame because Robin makes a mighty nice looking wench.pirate::cloud9::cloud9:

Pirate night dinner supplied another fantastic steak. :thumbsup2 The girls however were having some difficulties with the menu. They were dissappointed Gnocchi was no longer on the menu (i guess) and Nancy mentioned it to Putu and he promised to "see what he could do".
We kind of felt bad for Putu and Mugu because we found out someone at a nearby table had complained about them and they were kind of on edge.
Those guys are under a lot of pressure and you could just tell as they wernt their chipper self this evening so we made sure we tried to cheer them up.:thumbsup2
By the time late dining was over the Pirate Party was in full swing and it was body to body up there. (remind me again why we had late dining?..or more importantly..why did we book late dining for our next cruise as well?)

And since we'd just finished dinner, the pirate buffet was wasted on us.:lmao: (not that we needed to eat again anyway.:rotfl:)

But we were perfectly happy just sitting in those comfy chairs on deck 4 and people watching. (one of our favorite pastimes):3dglasses
We did that till around midnight then crashed.

Tomorrow i'd feel better.:thumbsup2 St Thomas was ahead..I sure hope no one gets left behind!popcorn::
and my Sweet Polly pole dances in St Thomas..(you read it right)

:lmao: Come on do you really think she was that surprised? That is why she only gave you two things to do.

hey Leisha!:flower3:
yeah, you'd think after all these years she'd know better.

i'm really not that clueless..i just play that way to get out of doing these..but dont tell Robin.:rolleyes1

No matter how bad you feel..its always a good time for a smoocher!

Suck it up!

yeah but we'll all be bummed when you guys all go on the cruise this Oct.:wizard:

I wanted to go with you all last year so badly. Come with us. This year we do not have a wedding to pay for so I have to get my Disney fix. Although we will have another grandchild to shop for on this cruise. When is the disneyanna thing? We were talking about you all last night. :thumbsup2We are thinking about WDW for New Years this year if you are interested.

Me three. What's booked in 2014?

if all goes as planned, Robin will be retiring then..we're in the early planning stages of a trip consisting of....
2 days at Disneyland (we've never been there)
either a cruise of Hawaiin Islands of a week stay somewhere there...(Aulani?)
then back for 2 more days at DL before heading home..

we thought DL would be a nice addition so we could avoid that LONG flight to Hawaii from Ohio.
