Hi all,

From Australia and very confused - I've searched on here and can't find the answer.

Was about to purchase WDW tickets from Undercover Tourist when I used their 'talk to me' button to chat to someone online. They have just advised me that if I purchase tickets from them then I can't use Memory Maker.

I've looked everywhere online and can't find anything at all that indicates that this is true.

(I've already purchased Memory Maker as I've been to Disney before and loved PP+.)

Can anyone help? Can I purchase tickets from Undercover Tourist, link them to MyDisney and still use Memory Maker (already purchased in MyDisney)?

I have never used Memory Maker. However, I have bought tickets from them, and they linked to MDX just fine. They are completely separate. Just like your room reservation is separate from your tickets, unless you purchase a package.

That's just wierd. Memory Maker has nothing to do with your tickets.

That's what I thought.

I figured if everything is linked on MyDisney there shouldn't be an issue.

btw we are not staying in the parks as we have 5 kids but I was intending on purchasing Magic Bands for ease at the Disney Store before we go into any of the Theme Parks - oh and link them to MyDisney too.

Is this what you'd all suggest?

We bought tix offsite at The Official Ticket Center last year and purchased Memory Maker just fine (stayed offsite). Just all has to be linked in your My Disney Experience account.
We bought Magic Bands last year for us and our (3) kids-not strictly necessary but soooo convenient just to scan the band for the photographer, plus the band captures ride photos automatically, and easy to use for Fast pass (rather than making sure right ticket gets to right kid, then worrying about whether the ticket will get lost or gathering them all up and passing them back out at next FP spot).

If you want to. It's kind of a lot of money for something that isn't necessary, but they are slightly more convenient. It's really just a personal choice.

Thanks Monykalyn.

Exactly what I thought - as long as everything is linked!

We actually have 5 kids (yes it's expensive lol) but one is only going to be one year old when we are in WDW. I was assuming that there was no point in her having a Magic Band as she won't even have a ticket OR should she have one just so that if she has character photos on her own they will be automatically linked to the Memory Maker? OR could I use a PP card for her and link that to the Memory Maker on MyDisney?

(Sorry for all of the questions - I've kind of been silent on disboards since our last USA trip - but I love the info and help that I seem to be able to get here that I can't get anywhere else.)

The baby doesn't need one. You don't need a photopass card for her, the photographer will just scan one of your magic bands.
