Just wondering if I buy base tickets from UT and decide when I get there that I want park to park, are they upgradeable?

Yes they are. The 3 park ticket historically has not been so stick to the standard tickets and you will be fine.

Beware that you lose your discount though if upgrading at the park. You only get credit for what UT paid for the tix and then you have to pay the difference between that and the gate price.

Last person who did this and reported it here got credit for what they paid and the online price. You still lose your discount but it isn't that substantial.
