undercover tourist ticket question

My sister is trying to order tickets through undercover tourist tonight. After placing her order she did not get a confirmation email. Instead, she got an email saying her order had been flagged for security and she would have to upload a photo ID for her order to go through.

I've ordered from them in the past and never had to do that. I'm just wondering if this is typical? Has anyone else gotten this email from them?

I have never ordered from them, but I have read of many people having to do that. Usually it boils down to a discrepancy between the credit card billing address and the shipping address, or something similar. It's an anti-fraud effort by UT.

I have ordered in past and not gotten that issue but have read folks saying same that it's a security issue but gets cleared quickly by them.

Pretty common.

No need for worry.
Just comply with the requests and all will be well.

We got it too on Monday, got our tickets today. Just an extra measure to prevent credit card fraud.

Just take a clear photo of your ID with your phone (or have anyone you know do it) and email the photo to the address UT gives you.

Yes, we have ordered from them several times, but only had to do this once. Not a sign of anything major, and easily resolved by emailing a photo of your ID. I called to follow up and had ticket numbers in a couple hours.
