After reading about Undercover Tourist - I checked out their website. I have one question though. What are the "Fun Visits"? It says on the site you can purchase MYW tickets you get fun visits. This is how it is listed: MYW Park Hopper + Water Park Fun & More (Fun Visits). Depending on the number of days purchased you get equal number of "fun visits". It lists your fun visit choices as: Blizzard Beach , Typhoon Lagoon , Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
(tee time reservations are required and subject to availability), DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park , Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex.
I understand it (maybe wrongly) as if I purchase 5 days of MYW + Parkhopper + No Expiration - I inturn also get 5 tickets that can get me into these "fun visit" places (DWWS, BB, etc.) for free. Am a crazy? I've never been very good at reading directions. Please help. Thanks

I do believe you are correct. Basically, you could visit BB and TL in one day, but that would be considered 2 tickets used. You could Park Hop to MK, AK, Epcot & DHS all in one day and that would be considered 1 ticket.

If I am incorrect please someone explain it to me as well. :rotfl2:

I was looking at 10 Base Tickets with No Expiration and found it cheaper through Disney than Undercover Tourist.

You are understanding it basically correctly - although you've typed it two different ways, so hopefully I can clarify it for you.

The Magic Your Way ticket is the base for all ticket options, which gives you a single entry into a single theme park for the number of days that you purchase. Then there are options that you can add-on to it to basically design your own ticket. Whichever option(s) you choose to add to your base ticket is completely up to you.

The options are Park Hopper (so you can go between theme parks on the same day); No Expiration (your tickets don't expire until you use them up); and the Water Parks Fun & More (gives you admission to your choice of the several options, including the water parks, in an amount equal to the number of days of your base ticket)

When you purchase the Magic Your Way Ticket and add the "Water Parks & More" options, you receive an equal number of visits to the list of options as the number of park days you purchase. So yes, if you purchase a 5 day ticket with the add-on - then you would receive 5 visits to your choice of the options (water parks, Disney Quest, etc). That doesn't mean 5 days, but visits. So if you were to visit both a water park and DisneyQuest in the same day, that would equal 2 visits.

You only get the "fun" options if you add them to your ticket. If you purchase the hopper option, you can only hop into another theme park, not the water parks (or other fun options).

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I believe I'm almost there. Is it correct that if I purchased that ticket, I would get 5 days in the parks and 5 more days for the "fun visits". Therefore, it is really like getting 10 days (5 parks and 5 fun visits)? And neither would expire (buying non-expiration tickets).

It could be like 10 days, yes. Neither expire with the no expiring option.

We've done the 5 day+the fun and non-expiring options twice now on an 8 and a 9 day trips and have numerous "fun options" remaining from those previous non-expiring tix that we'll be able to use on our next trip to add to our regular AP's (no water parks included).

Just remember that how you use the 5 options is totally up to you. They can be stand alone visits on a single day, or multiple visits on the same day - or saved for future use!

Thanks for the explanation. Is it as good of a deal as it sounds? Sounds like a great deal to me!

I haven't looked recently, but Disney's prices in the past did not include taxes. Undercover Tourist included tax and shipping. Make sure you are looking at total cost!

Sorry I am not a DVC owner, but am lurking over here. More like dreaming. Anyway, we have purchased through undercover tourist and have been very pleased. If you subscribe to the mousesavers newsletter you can sometimes save even a few more dollars per ticket through the link in the monthly newsletter. Also the person who said the ticket was cheaper at Disney, unless there is some DVC discount it has never been cheaper as the Disney price does not have tax until you check out and UCT what you see is what you pay. Also you can return an unsused unopened ticket to UCT minus a slight restocking fee. Nice feature.

Thanks for the info. The price I got through Disney is $2,080 and through undercover is $2157.

I am still pricing out, I am not making a purchase for a while. Still debating on if it worth it for non-expiration tix.

So I checked it out and a 10 day base ticket with no expiration is
435.95 through undercovertourist
465.41 through disney

A 5 day hopper + fun with no expiration is
386.00 through undercovertourist
417.49 through disney

If you are buying multiple tickets that can add up. In both these tickets cases the mousesavers newsletter link is not cheaper. A 10 day hopper with no expiration is 10 dollars cheaper with the newsletter. It just depends on the ticket being purchased.

Good luck with you ticket selection and purchase.

Since this is not DVC specific, I am moving it over to our Theme Park board. Thanks
