Undercover Tourist question- Park Tickets and Express Pass

Hi All! First time for me and my family to Universal, so total newbie here. I bought park to park tickets through Undercover Tourist. We are planning to buy Express Passes through UT as well.

Question, can someone explain how we use the UT tickets once we get to the parks? Same goes for the Express Passes (getting the 1 time per ride pass), how do they work? Will each of us get our own barcode to scan for entrance to the park? Will we get our own barcode to scan for the Express Pass? Just worried that I'll need to be in charge of everyone's tickets, since they are associated with my email.

Lastly, is it worth it to download the app? Can we add our tickets/passes to the app?

We had two-day tickets from UT this past August, and also express passes. We printed the express passes at home, and used lanyards, as some attractions do not allow bags/phones so a paper copy to scan, AFTER you've secured your bag, is the only option for using your express pass. It was very quick and easy. Everyone has their own but you could hold onto them all and scan each person in, if that works better.
