We've been using MDE since the first year but I've got a question about our recent trip. It's saying that my toddler need tickets in order to get FP's. I don't remember MDE doing this before. Is this a new change? I'm afraid there's going to be an issue once we get there.
Your toddle doesn't need any FPs, they just tag along with you. Since they are free and don't need a ticket, they don't technically get FPs - but as long as they are with someone who has one, they are fine.
Are you in your timeframe to make FP+ selections yet? If you are still early and just browsing around and it's not your time to make selections, then yes it will say everyone in your party needs a ticket. I know because it says my 1 year old needs a ticket along with everyone else in my party (I have already booked a package via WDW site) but because my day to make selections is on July 14th. I called last year because I saw the same thing and they said no it will correct itself when it's time to make selections.
