OK I want to go on my Birthday 9/26 during free dining and my husband wants to go the 1st week of December. Any suggestions? When would you go?

Personally, I would go during December when the temps are much cooler. We were considering going for free dining, but decided that we don't want to arrange our entire trip around eating. It seems that the ADRs at the popular places are gone, as are most of the popular dining times. I always plan in advance which park on which day, but I also like to be able to wake up in the morning and change my mind. I guess I see ADRs as obligations and I don't like having obligations on my vacation. That said, I would like to go on my birthday.

Well, really talk about it with your husband, but I'll make the suggestion and go along with the other reply and say go in December when the temperature isn't as killer and you'll get to see Disney all decorated for Christmas!!!!

We went in September last year and although we truly enjoyed our experience, the humidity and temperatures were a killer for us. So, we are going again this year in December!!!! And I don't know if you've ever gone before, but I know we received a pin for free dining up to December 17.

I'm another vote for December! The weather in September is just too hot for me. Also, the decorations are just beautiful in December!! Good luck deciding!

Another vote for December! It's a little late for ADRs for September (you probably won't get into any of the more popular restaurants because that week is pretty busy). Also-you won't have to worry about hurricanes/rain and the holiday decorations will be up. I'm sure there will be another deal coming up for that time period-that is a slow week.

I would choose December! I love love LOVE WDW all decked out for Christmas. It's beautiful, and I'm hard to impress! The only thing to note is that the first week is typically the Pop Warner superbowl and cheerleading competition. It's really crowded that week. Last year we went December 13 - 20 and it was blissful! Crowds were down. The weather was in the upper 70's/lower 80's in the day and light jacket worthy in the evening. Perfect!!!

We are going Sept 26th (by the way OP my daughters Bday is the 29th) and I keep hearing how miserable it is to go then. Is it really that bad? I mean, people go all sumer.I would think it would be much worse then, or is it just people think it's September so it should be cooler. just curious, It's making me a little nervous.

It is very hot and humid but you will be fine. We are going two weeks before you. I would also vote for December because of the weather and not being able to get many ADR's at this point for Sept. I have a;ways wanted to see Disney at Christmas and hopefully we can do this before to long. :goodvibes
