Has anyone been to the one in Scottsboro, Al? What did you find? How are the prices? I have read some mixed reviews and, I am not sure if it is worth the 45min drive. What about DSLR cameras are there some good deals on those?

You never know what you're going to find. Sometimes there are neat stuff, and other times not so much. It just depends on what has been lost in the luggage.

I've bought lots of stuff at the UB and actually need to head over there sometime soon (need a new camera). I've gotten great deals on cameras, ipods, Nintendo DS and games, movies, designer shoes, handbags, dresses, shirts, jackets. You really have no idea what you're going to find but I drive from the Huntsville area once or twice a year. Sometimes I buy lots and sometimes I only find a couple things. My best purchases have been electronics.

and overall, I'd keep the 1.5 hours of your time. (round trip).

Most of it is WAY overpriced. You'd have to hit it on just the right day to find a deal. I promise, Hang out on the Budget Board and you'll find great prices for new items.
