I see posts that refer to the Unbirthday Party at Vero Beach, but I don't really know much about it. What do the children do at the Unbirthday Party? For what ages is it appropriate? How long does it last? On what days is it held? Do I just sign my kids up for it when we check-in, or do arrangements need to be made earlier?

Any experience or opinions you could share on the Unbirthday Party would be appreciated! :earsboy:

They had an unbirthday party for Tots (2-4 years) and then a regular unbirthday party for the kids (4-10). A parent stayed with the tot at the unbirthday. I think they were each offered two or three times durring the week. The regular unbirthday party fills up pretty quickly, so sign up first thing in morning of the day you want to go.

Two of my kids went to the regular unbirthday party. I'm not sure of everything they did but I know they came out with a lot of candy and they both said they had fun.

I went to the tot unbirthday with my 3yo. They played games, decorated cupcakes and got a cute little teddy bear.

I also have a duaghter who was almost 11 and seemed a little too old for the unbirthday so we never signed her up. One of the CMs must have figured this out and did not want her to be excluded so she asked my daughter if she would come and 'help' at the unbirthday party. This made my daughter feel so special! It was just one more little ithing that made VB such a great trip!

Our kids have been taking part of the unbirthday party since age 3 or 4, that is the youngest I think they allow. The first 12 kids who sign up for it are in. We usually sign up that morning. Only once was it already sold out and once (last trip) canceled as we were the only two kids. The other 10 or 12 times was very enjoyable and fun. it is a small birthday party set up with contests like cupcake eating, goofy bingo, musical chairs. etc. Prizes are awarded to the winners. They get balloons and hats too. Once it was my sons actual birthday but they gave him no special attention as everyone at the unbitrthday party is having an unbirthday!! My boys really enjoy it and Mary Anne and crew at the community hall make it alot of fun! Nice for the parents too as we have about a half hour pool time to ourselves.
