Would you fly with Jetsgo again?

  • Absolutely, why not

  • No way, not a chance

  • Maybe, depends on the route/deal

According to this article, Jetsgo wants to try it again.

So let me get this straight - Michel LeBlanc ran Royal down until it the only viable option for it was to merge with Canada300. C3K then made LeBlanc chairman was it? And then of course it went under suddenly. LeBlanc then starts up Jetsgo, which repeats what C3K did.

And now he wants to do it again?

Alright, so let's do a poll - would you fly with Jetsgo if they were to offer flights again?

Not this cowgirl.. I or DH could have very easily been one those people stranded at the airport that morning. I will not trust anything that may rise out of Jetsgo's ashes. We usually used WestJet and will continue to now.

Of course they want to try again. If you stole from people three times and got away with it, why not try for a fourth?

Perhaps Canada needs to redraft some legistlation so this time M. LeBlanc ends up cooling his butt in jail instead of leaving Canadians stranded and taking their money on the 1st and 2nd busiest days in airline travel.

Good grief! :(

I hope whatever he does the media is all over his company so that people know exactly who's running it and will know to stay away.

Sheesh! On the other hand, there isn't alot of competition from Wpg so I wouldn't mind seeing them have another go of it just to keep the prices reasonable. I've never flown with them because they have yet to come in cheaper than West Jet or Air Canada for the places I fly to.

Not a chance why would you want to risk it mind you I could live with being stranded at WDW for a while longer LOL.

Nope.

Once bitten, twice shy...twice bitten...just not very bright;)

I hate to say it - but why SHOULDN'T he try again? Granted; he'll never ever get my business again (or that of my clients)

BUT (there's always a but) as long as we are complaining about the 'expensive' fares to Orlando there will ALWAYS be room for cheap charter airlines such as Jetsgo.

Problem is...WE have to accept the fact that it's just not feasible for an airline to stay in business by cutting the fare costs to serve us with cheaper fares.

Just look around the DIS boards at how many 'complaints' there are about the high cost of airfare. Cheaper fares are in demand - there's no doubt about that and I GUARANTEE you that should Mr. LeBlanc start up another charter - as SOON as those rates are lower then Air Canada, Skyservice and the like - just watch how quickly the seats will sell out.

It's like that age old rule; You get what you pay for. ;)

I am not sure I would choose to fly with them unless I wanted to take the risk I need to think about it.

BUT we have a credit with Jetsgo that I will have no hope to get back unless they fly again.

I would not fly with them to WDW but maybe a causal trip somehwere when the impact would not be so large if there was an issue.

I also think some competition is great for discount fares, although they priced themselves out of the business.

I'm willing to bet that if they manage to reorganize and come back it won't be as the exact same airline they are now. This means they won't be under any obligation to carry forward any credit passengers had with them before, and I'm willing to bet they won't.

Just like I'm betting that I'll never see the commission they owe me from the last flight I booked on them, which was back in July. Other places that pay commission actually pay it promptly, Jetsgo kept giving me excuses on why they weren't paying it. I told them I wasn't booking another passenger on them until they paid - they didn't pay, I didn't book anyone with them.
