Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

I finally got the last of my necklaces I ordered:yay:....

Seems like it took forever to get here. Like it was on a slow boat from China.

No, seriously.....

:rotfl:

The lighter blue color in the necklace is actually more of a turquoise, it shows up darker in the picture than it really is. I think my favorite is the round one, it's really pretty on.

Not sure yet what I'll wear it with, but at least I have a few to pick from and decide. :goodvibes

Hope ya'll are having a better day then the last few days in the wake of things going on in this world. :worried:

If I've learned anything since 9/11 it's to tell the people in your life you love them.
Hug your spouse, significant other, kids, nieces, nephews.
And be sure what ever you do....laugh, and laugh often, even if it's through tears. It defuses the evil in this world and sets your heart to moving forward again, it's soooo important to keep moving forward. ::yes:: Even Uncle Walt knew this. :lovestruc

If you are looking for something to help you get to a place of laughing again, I'll leave you with this picture of my Kitty Boy....

:rotfl:

He was being a curious little kitty and tried playing with my glasses when I had them sitting on my exercise mat (I was doing some of my p.t. exercises-yes they required me to have my glasses off). He wouldn't leave them alone so I got this hair brain idea, it helped me to laugh again. Hope it does the same for you. :goodvibes

And hey.....I love y'all, and I'm so, so, so blessed to have each and every one of you in my life.:grouphug:

You are so right Millie. It's hard to know what to do when things like that happen, but really the only thing you can do is to pay your respects (which I did by wearing my running t-shirt yesterday) and just keep moving forward. If we all fall in a heap it's just letting them win. Thanks for the comic relief - your cat really is a character and reminds me of my cat, Oliver!

Yay for your necklaces arriving! I can't wait to see some of this stuff on you at WDW :goodvibes

And on another note, I've just read about the terrible explosion in Texas :scared1: Sounds just awful, especially as the 2nd major tragic event in the space of a few days :( I have no idea about the geography of Texas and whether you are anywhere near it, but I hope you and your family are all ok

:lovestrucThank you, Lana. :lovestruc It feels good to hear people/friends from all over the world are being so supportive.

My thoughts exactly, good far outweighs evil, and evil CAN NOT be allowed to win. We do that by moving forward (living our lives), serving one another, and loving one another. The most important being love, and the rest will follow after that.

Awww, another cat lover. :lovestruc I love the name Oliver for a cat, it's such a great name. :thumbsup2

Kitty Boy's actually name is Romeo, but we never really called him that, for some reason Kitty Boy stuck and that's what it is now. And trust me, he really is a character. He bring so much joy to us.
I never really understood what people were talking about when it came to their pets being like their kids until Kitty Boy found us.

I know, it took a while. I started to think it wasn't going to show. :worried: I'm looking forward to wearing them. :goodvibes

I'll assume you're ok since you replied to my post :goodvibes

And since I'm now at home, here's a pic of Oliver so you can see why Kitty Boy reminded me of him!

Hey girlie!! How are you, Michele? Are you back to planning for Disney again?

The planning is stalled for the near future. Our house burned down on April 9. Very little was salvageable and they are going to have to restore the inside completely.

Your necklaces are so cute and I love your kitty.

And since I'm now at home, here's a pic of Oliver so you can see why Kitty Boy reminded me of him!

Oliver is so cute! I love his Donald Duck!

I think Kitty boy and Oliver are brothers! I love grey tabbys. Very pretty cats girls!

Camille - your necklaces are lovely! Enjoy.

I am sure I am not completely caught up but was in HHI last week!

LOVE the necklaces, Camille.

I have to admit that I am far from a cat lover...but being that the kids now have two cates, they are growing on me...a little bit.

I can't believe you are under three weeks. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I love the necklaces but is it wrong that I love the kitty pictures more? :lmao:

 Sorry To hear this. I hope you get settled soon and start the rebuilding process.

I officially dub you, Camille, the necklace queen.

Pretty pretty!

Kitty is pretty darn cute too

Oh, how dreadful and sad. Hope things get better soon.

Oliver is so cute! I love his Donald Duck!

Michele, so sorry to hear about your fire. You must be so shocked and feel so devastated right now. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Nice necklaces! I am enjoying all of your diva clothes shopping and planning - what a way to celebrate your success!!! :yay: Your cat is pretty funny, too!

Ooooh Lana, I'm so sorry, I didn't see this until today. Actually the site where the explosion happened is about and hour and half to two hours away. But from what I hear it broke windows in people's homes up to four miles away, destroyed homes near by (four block radius) and felt up to 80 miles away, that would be an hour away! It was also a 2.1 magnitude on the richtor scale! :scared: A woman who lived two blocks away from the plant gave an interview today on the news who said she had just come home from work and the neighbor called to ask her e"]about the smoke they were seeing and smelling, (the plant had a fire before the explosion happened) they both met outside to talk about it and then the explosion happened, she said she was knocked to the ground. She then crawled to her neighbors side of the house to get under the eaves of their home to avoid being hit by the debris falling all around her. :faint:
Her neighbors call saved life because the explosion destroyed the inside of this woman's home, all the windows IMploded, if she had been in her home she would have been killed by the implosion.
The nursing home across the way had people thrown out of their beds, wheel chairs by this explosion, I mean to tell you this was one big explosion!! Fertilizer is not to be messed with when it comes to a fire!!
I'm sure this is waaay more than you wanted to know. :rotfl: But thank you for your concern.

Awwwww, Lana. He's so beautiful, what a doll baby, and I'm totally digging the Donald charm on his collar. :lovestruc

Oooooooh Michele. I'm so, so sorry. What can I do for you? Do you have family there to help you out while your home is being restored? Oh Michele, I can't imagine what you are feeling right now, you've been through so much this last year and now this. I have some dear friends here who went through this a few years back too, it's tough but you can and will get through it. Please, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. If you want you can PM me and let me know what your clothing sizes are, I may have some clothes you could have.

Your necklaces are so cute and I love your kitty.

Thank you, I love my kitty too, he's a big joy to me.

I think Kitty boy and Oliver are brothers! I love grey tabbys. Very pretty cats girls!

:goodvibes I think they could be!! Kitty boy is part tabby and part siamese, my last kitty was the same, I don't know what it is about tabby/siamese mixes but they truly do appeal to me. :lovestruc Is Oliver a siamese/tabby mix, Lana?

Camille - your necklaces are lovely! Enjoy.

:goodvibes Thank you, Mary Ellen, I hope your trip ended up being what you needed. :)

I am sure I am not completely caught up but was in HHI last week!

No worries, I know you've been on a trip and I'm not worried if people are caught up or not. It's just good to have you over here when you can make it. ::yes::

LOVE the necklaces, Camille.

Thank you Ms. Kat. I hope they will work out well on the trip.

I have to admit that I am far from a cat lover...but being that the kids now have two cats, they are growing on me...a little bit.

 Before you know it you'll be a total cat nut! Okay, okay, I won't go that far, but I think you'll find they grow on you more than you'll want to admit. ::yes::

I can't believe you are under three weeks. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I know, right?!? I'm starting to get beyond excited!! And nervous about getting all the little details together. Just today I was making out the packing list and starting to put things on the dresser in a pile.

I love the necklaces but is it wrong that I love the kitty pictures more? :lmao:

No way!! :goodvibes I love the kitty pictures more than the necklaces any day!! ::yes:: :lovestruc

 Sorry To hear this. I hope you get settled soon and start the rebuilding process.

::yes:: I second that.

I officially dub you, Camille, the necklace queen.

Pretty pretty!

Kitty is pretty darn cute too

:rotfl: Camille the necklace Queen, at your service. The funny things is, I don't normally wear a lot of jewelry, but I see so many gals on the Dis looking so cute with their necklaces on, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I probably won't wear them much in the parks, since it will be pretty warm outside and stuff around my neck makes me pretty sticky and sweaty. I'll save them for the (hopeful) cooler days and restaurants.

Nice necklaces! I am enjoying all of your diva clothes shopping and planning - what a way to celebrate your success!!! :yay: Your cat is pretty funny, too!

Thanks! :) Kitty Boy was NOT happy about our little props and photo shoot. :rotfl:

Oliver thanks you all very much for your kind comments :goodvibes Millie we rescued him as a kitten so don't know much about his background/breeding. It's possible he has some Siamese in him :thumbsup2 The Donald charm is actually his bell - he lost the one that came with the collar.

Kaoden your house burnt down? :scared1: OMG I can't even imagine what you must be going through! Sending you big hugs  and hope that you can get back to some normalcy soon.

Your necklaces are so pretty. Glad you weren't affected by the explosian in Texas. You Kitty Boy is pretty. I am severly allergic to cats (an allergy developed in adulthood) so they aren't my favorite animals but my brother had some when we were kids and I did love to cudde with them.
