Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

I LOVE a good shopping post.

Conversely, I HATE shopping for a bathing suit. Oh my gosh. It's just so horrifying. And is too much to ask that after I've had children and the goods just aren't as uplifted as they used to be to have a swimsuit with some...well...uplift??? :lmao:

It is always the bane of my existence. And I go through them throughout the year because I swim at our local Y and chlorine kills bathing suits good and dead. :lmao:

Anyway! I digress. I love your post. You have some wonderful things and hooray for new haircuts! I also got a new hairstyle last week, and am feeling pretty snazzy myself. It's amazing how a good haircut can make you feel so wonderful!

Your dresses are all adorable and the hair cut is pretty sassy! Nothing like a good shopping update to grab my attention.

Love all the dresses, Camille...you did great. I've never been a big one on wearing dresses to the parks, but I've bought a couple of sundresses since we are going in August this time and it might be a little too hot for jeans shorts and t-shirts.

I hear you on the swimsuit. I've not evven started looking for one for our June trip. I guess I best get over to Sears and look at their Lands End department soon.

Thank you Ms. Kat. I haven't either, but I'm hoping for a good turn out with them. :thumbsup2 I'm hoping they will feel cooler (with some cotton, moisture wicking, boy shorts under them to cut down on the legs sweating and chafing), and well, look cute in the pictures. I've been hiding for so long I figure I better look as cute as possible for the pics I'm allowing now.
Now why in the world didn't I think of going to Sears to look at the suits up close and personal?!? :headache: I totally forgot they had them there! Thank you Ms. Kat for helping me get my act together on the suit front, I'm fretting over here thinking the suit won't work and I hate sending them back and re-ordering the dumb things! What a goof I've been!

I LOVE a good shopping post.

Me too! :goodvibes

I KNOW!! What is up with that?!? :rotfl: I'm looking forward to this suit getting here, it's supposed to be the suit when it comes to the issues you mentioned above. I'll let you know.

Tyler DS20 and Mackie are both swimmers, Ty swam from middle school through high school, and Mackie may be another one, not sure yet. Any who....to help cut down on their beautiful blonde hair from turning green I tell them to get their hair wet in the shower in the bathroom first so it's already soaked up something besides the chemicals in the pool, and it totally works! Do you think it might help to preserve your suit? I do happen to know people in the reviews say the Lands End suits hold up to the ocean for more than one season, something to ponder for this year. :confused3

Thank you TK! I would love to see your new haircut :yay:, you'll have to post something on FB. :goodvibes I've been meaning to send you a PM over there, hopefully I'll be able to get to you tomorrow. It's my only free day where I don't have to go any appts. besides Friday, thank goodness for Friday. :lovestruc

Thank you Mary Ellen, I think of you often when I'm shopping because of all your cute tops. I'm always on the look out for cute tops, not always easy to find. Your tanks with the ruffles at the V neck is beyond adorable on you!! ::yes:: :thumbsup2

So, what did you ladies think about the necklaces? Did anyone get a chance to look and decide which one's you liked most? No worries if you didn't, I know how hard it is to get on people's threads and read to begin with, let along look through links. But if y'all happen to get a chance let me know what you think. It's always good to have another eye for these things. :goodvibes

Huh. I never thought of that in regard to the suit. I'm going to have to try it!

I'll try to get a picture on Facebook, and over there I'll tell you what my hairdresser and I called it. It's...uh...not suitable for a wholesome Disney board. ;)

 I actually love the name you and your hair dresser gave the hair cut. hee hee hee!

if everyone else likes the dresses then i guess i do too:thumbsup2

You're too cute, Dan. And BRAVE! :goodvibes There is no way you could lose your man card for telling a woman she has a nice dress. And if anyone on here tells you other wise..........they'll have to deal with me!

i am getting so excited!

I know! I am too!!

Your shopping is putting me to SHAME!

I supposed I should get something new to wear in Disney, too! ::yes::

Yes!! Getting something new for Disney add's to the fun of going!!

I am getting excited for our trip!!

Me too, sweetie!! :yay:
So glad to see you over here!! :goodvibes

Um, I'm a little in love with that swimsuit. I think I "need" one.

I love that hairstyle.

Awww, thank you! I'm not having the best luck with making it like the picture, but I'm making it my own.

Um, I'm a little in love with that swimsuit. I think I "need" one.

I'm thinking you "need" one too. It is on sale this weekend. I think you should jump on it. There are more colors to choose from, not sure what you'd go for but check it out. :goodvibes Oh, and like Ms. Kat said, you can go to Sears and try them on if you are a little leary about doing it over the net.
I think you'll love how it hides anything you want to hide or reveal a little more if you want too, (the top is adjustable) it really is the best suit I've ever tried on. I can't wait to try it out in the water. Even Mackie was excited about me getting my new suit and how cute she thought it was when I tried it on. :thumbsup2

I love the new hair style and swim suit! What a cute look!

I adore wearing dresses at Disney. So comfy and you feel pretty at the same time. If they are the right kind of dress of course and your selections are pretty stinking fabulous. I do tend to do shorts/capri's in the day and then a dress for dinner and evening park time but I think it's as much as the fact that I like a mid day change regardless just to feel fresh.

Ok I love both necklace sets and would buy them both, how very fun! the multi colored with the pink would be fab.

The black dress though, if all day long...yeah might be awfully hot, esp at AK but I do like the theming you've got going on. I wore a black sun dress twice on the last trip but it was at night both times. I did wear a dark purple one once during the day and while it was wicking and loose, I did feel warmer due to the color.

Cool hairstyle, can't wait to see a real picture of you with it. I could never pull something like that off, I'd look like a plucked chicken.

Great suit, Lands End is pricey but worth it. I buy the boys rashguards there as they are the only ones that actually hold up well. I'm an Athleta devotee myself, for similar reasons.

Can't wait to see the haircut on you!

I sure hope I can figure out how to make it look as cute. I think because my color is growing out I'm having some issues with it (makes it harder to get volume when the roots are growing out), but I still have a few more weeks to get it under control.

I love the new hair style and swim suit! What a cute look!

Thank you, Michele!! :goodvibes I'm still adjusting to styling it, I still haven't quite mastered it, yet. :rolleyes2  The bathing suit is sooo cute and does all that a girl wants it to do after having kiddos. Okay, not all that a girl wants it to do, but you know what I mean.
If I could get it to clean the house, make my kids clean their rooms and make the 'girls' stand up all on their own.....THEEEEN it would do all that a girl wants it to do. :teeth: :rotfl:

 :lovestruc Aww, thank you.

I typically do capri's in the parks too, I'm just trying to change it up a bit :goodvibes, you do have a really good point about saving the black dress for the evening. I'm not sure it would work out though, going back to the room after AK probably won't happen since we're so close to AKL. Once the park is closed, or right before, we end up heading over to AKL early to walk around before our ADR to BOMA. Kinda hard to go back to the room at that point.
I'll just have to wait and see what else I find to theme with the parks (or not), I did find a cute top that was Parisian inspired, but it's black and white striped and I'm just not down with stripes. I think it's cute as all get out, just not sure I'm into the stripes that seem to be in this year. Maybe when I've lost all my weight I'll be more comfortable with the strips, it's hard to break the big girl mentality of never wear stripes since they make you look bigger.

I thought so too!! :goodvibes :lovestruc

Yeaaah, I'm a bit worried about that too. I did wear the black dress today to meet up with Tammie (MAGICFOR2) we met up at the outlet mall today (she lives here in Texas now!! :goodvibes), I really loved how nice and cool it felt.
She helped me find a pair of shoes to go with the Mother's Day dress I've been having problems with. I'm not totally sure they are the one's, but thinking I'm tired of looking and they'll just have to be the one's.

Cool hairstyle, can't wait to see a real picture of you with it. I could never pull something like that off, I'd look like a plucked chicken.

It's funny you say this because I look at your beautiful, longer hair and think I could never pull off having longer hair because I just look like a stringy mess when I grow mine out. :rotfl: At least we both know what looks good on ourselves.

Great suit, Lands End is pricey but worth it. I buy the boys rashguards there as they are the only ones that actually hold up well. I'm an Athleta devotee myself, for similar reasons.

I'll have to check them out. This is actually my first Lands End suit, I've been wanting to buy one for many years and now I feel I can. It's hard to spend that kind of money when you keep thinking you won't be that same size the following year because you plan on losing weight. Now I can, because I have! :goodvibes

Oooh nice bathers :thumbsup2

(That's what we call swimsuits in Aus)

Thank you, Lana! :thumbsup2 And I kinda figured. I love it when you use lingo from your country. I'm sure there's a lot of things we say in the states that makes you walk away scratching your head or laughing. :scratchin :rotfl:

LOVE the swimsuit, LOVE the hairstyle!!!!

Thank you, Judy!! So sweet of you to post this. :thumbsup2
I hope all is well your way. :)

There sure are! DH and I struggled with our first couple of meals in the US. And there is one particular word that you use very freely over there, which means something completely different and quite rude over here! Takes a bit of getting used to :rotfl:
