Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

Hi Camille, sorry I haven't checked in for a long time. That's wonderful that you get to go a day ahead of planned! 4 resorts, you'll be a pro at it. Beaches and Cream sounds yummy. Have a grilled cheese for me.

No worries, I've been bad about getting to everyone else's myself. Just not enough time in the day with taking my mom to appts. still. :worried: I'm slowly but surely making my rounds to get to everyone's reports. :goodvibes

I've been wondering where you've been, I hope all is okay.

Yes, Beaches and Cream! Although Mackie may be changing her mind, but if we still go she planned on the grilled cheese, it's one of her favorites. :goodvibes

I could use a few more hours to the day too.

Which grilled cheese will she get? The kids or the amazing 6 cheese grilled cheese that if fairly new and comes with tomato bisque?

She wants the new one. :goodvibes She looooves a good grilled cheese with tomato soup. ::yes::

I know!!! An extra day, an extra day!! Thank you Lana, say...how did your trip go?!? Did you have a great time, how did your run go?!?

I'm right there with ya. I'm usually the one behind the camera at almost all times, makes for a lot of pressure to get a lot of great pics and you're never in them, in the past I was fine with that. I'm not so much now. :goodvibes

I just got home this morning - flew into Melbourne airport at 8am after a 9 hour flight then drove 1 1/2 hours home :crazy2:

I had an amazing time, and I had the best surprise! DH surprised me by meeting me in HK so that we could spend our anniversary together :goodvibes He waited at the airport for me, followed me onto a train, and just plonked himself down next to me! We had a great time together in HK.

Europe was awesome too! We had quite wintery weather and I got to see real snow falling from the sky! I even got to see the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland covered in a layer of snow :thumbsup2 It was of course pretty cold, but we were prepared.

I'm going to start my TR tonight, feel free to pop in if you're interested in pics :goodvibes

No running yet. I'll build up my walking a bit again after slacking off for a few weeks, and start running when I'm a bit fitter again.

I love your little reminders around the house and in the car. I'm a bit of a list person myself, but I'm more of a categorising/sorting person - my wardrobe is sorted into clothing style, then in colour order from lightest to darkest through the rainbow (yep, a bit OTT!) :rotfl:

I can honestly say I have never heard the expression "poop in a group". :rotfl2: But I will be sure to think of that the next time I think of the less DIS friendly saying. :rolleyes1

Congrats on adding the extra night. That's awesome!

Love the lists. No one can call you disorganized!

Way to go hubby!! :thumbsup2 What a great surprise!

That is awesome, I guess y'all don't get a lot of snow there. We don't either. :)

I need to do that! It's kinda hard for me to get to them often, but I will read them even if I'm not responding a lot.

I know just what you are going through, kinda doing the same right now. :worried:

Oh how I envy you, organizer I am not. With some things I am, but not as much as I'd like. OTT? We say OCD here, obsessive complusive disorder.

:rotfl: I thought someone would eventually say something! It is a pretty funny saying, and not all that common.

Congrats on adding the extra night. That's awesome!

Thank you! We're pretty excited about this! :goodvibes

 Oh you could, but that's why I have the lists! :rotfl:

Hi Lady! Wow I was just realizing it was 2 months for you while reading back and catching up!:cheer2: I'm glad your mom is so strong and you seem to be holding up with all of the transportation and support for her.

I love all of your purchases! Too funny you have your own jewelry consultant at Macy's! :rotfl2: You two chose well!

Keep up the good work and stay strong- you are almost there! I have to buckle down since I'm here with the kids. Not feeling as much stress and eating more junk will catch up to me quick! I need to find an excercise routine again - not thinking the water aerobics will happen here.

:wave2: I know, 2 months!! :cheer2: She is strong, but I don't know how long she can hold up under this much pain and being so dang tired from radiation and chemo. :worried:

She's awesome! She's been at Macy's for over 10 years, I'm hoping she'll be there for a long time to come. One can always use their own jewelry consultant.

Thank you, Tammie. I'm trying to stay focused and strong these last few weeks, especially with being back in physical therapy again .
I know I'll feel good for the trip, but in the mean time I'm not sure how much I can hit my workouts as hard as I have in the past.
Even with slowed workouts, my hope is I won't blow it and I'll lose at least another 10 lbs. before the trip. ::yes:: God willing. :)

I am the same way with the lists! I used to have them all over my house/desk like you, but then they would get lost and shuffled around - so I recently downloaded in app called Wunderlist - IT'S FANTASTIC! There is a phone version, an iPad version, and a desktop version - so I have it all, on all three devices! I use it for everything. I even have a "B*****, Camille - WDW May 5-16" list. ;)

Anyway - I can share my lists too, so things like "Grocery Shopping" shows up on Joe's phone/iPad as well. Seriously, this app has saved my sanity. :lmao:

I hope all is well for you, and your Mom. :goodvibes

It's funny you bring up technology concerning this....I've been wondering all this time (at least since smart phones and pads havebecome the wave of the future) how smart I would become and have my lists become digital like everyone else's, I have the Out of Milk app, but it's pretty limited. <she says as she's looking up wunderlist app on her smart phone :rotfl:>

<down loaded and now frustrated> Okay! You are gonna have to walk me through using this silly thing! You'd think it would be easy for me, nope! :sad2: This is why I usually give up on using list apps., too much of a pain! I just want to go under a certain title (private/work/shopping/ what ever) for making lists under, but when I type it in it goes to all of them! I give up! Moving on....

Mom is doing about as well as can be expected at this point, she's still in a lot of pain and is sleeping pretty much round the clock, the radiation and chemo is whipping her hiney. She won't even wake long enough to call me and let me know she's doing okay. :worried:

Okay....calling you to figure out this dang wunderlist that isn't so wunderful so far. ;) :rotfl:

Camille, Just letting you know I AM still here and I am praying for your Mom and all of you!:hug: So much excitement with the trip and the continued weight loss and great buys...not so much happiness worrying about your Mom. Sending :love: and:goodvibes:goodvibes your way!

Judy!! :cheer2: I'm so happy you made it over to say hello!! :goodvibes I've been thinking a lot about you of late (God must be placing you all on my heart) and wondering how all is going with you and your family. I'm so sorry I'm not getting over to your report more, I just feel like my life is one big whirlwind right now. Not that you would know anything about that.

I so love the picture of you and hubby when you were a younger couple, it's so cute. Aaaah to be young and cute again. I'll never be young again, but I'm working on the cute part. :p

I appreciate your prayers for my mom more than words can say, it's not easy to watch the one's you love in pain, as you well know.
How is Lisa and the rest of the family doing? Hope you are well, since you are the glue that holds all of the familly together I pray you are well and taking good care of yourself. I try and remind myself of this every time I feel like I can't keep going with my weight loss, and then I remember how great I'm feeling and that it can only get better from here. :)

Thank you again Judy, for stopping in and giving your love and blessings. :lovestruc This is soo much apart of why I love my Dis friends. :flower3: :grouphug:

Hold on to your hats boys

, this is a pretty big update on some of my shopping this weekend. (I think I've lost most of my male readers any way :rotfl:)

I've been a shopping fool this weekend. I may not have gotten a lot but I feel like I've accomplished a lot and that's always a good thing when you have a lot to get done in a short amount of time.

As soon as Friday came I ordered a new swim suit and a fuschia colored t-shirt from Lands End, pricey but I'm hoping I'll love my new suit. If not, I'm not sure what the heck I'll end up doing. :confused3

Once you hit a ceratin age you don't want certain body areas (that seem to have a mind of their own) hanging out of a suit. Needless to say it's rather hard to find a good suit that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, not to mention cutting the circulation off to one of them! :rotfl:
A lot of suits for women try and make you look a size or two smaller, and in the process it ends up making you feel like a stuffed sausage that someone squeezed all the air out of! Am I right girls, or am I right?!?
Lands End is known for the suits not being too much one way or the other, not too much hanging out and not too much being squeezed in so you aren't being sufficated by your own body. :lmao:

My day then consisted of hitting the stores and buying a couple of dresses and a light weight jacket for those cold restaurants.....

Thinking one of these to go with the black dress....

The necklace for the blue dress I already had, and the belt for the black one I found on clearance for less than $7 dollars!! :cool1:
I've pretty much spent all of lastnight looking on ebay and etsy for a necklace for the black dress and pink dress (pink one to come). I think my eyes have turned a crimson color and I'm starting to see necklaces in my sleep.

You'll have to tell me what you think about the necklaces I've been looking at. :)

I also have the blue/green dress in a pink....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/230856522937

These are such cute dresses, they compliment me well and I think it will be a nice change to wearing the same old over sized shirts and capris I've been wearing to Disney since my first trip in 2007.

I've decided the blue and green dress will be my outfit for our MK day/Ohana's dinner, hence the hibiscus necklace. :goodvibes

And the Black dress for (which I may end up regretting-black dress-hottest park :crazy2:) our AK/BOMA day. We have two in one day ADR's for BOMA, I don't think I can go wrong with the black and animal print outfit. :goodvibes

I also got my hair cut on Friday!! This is style in the front....

20130310_184930_zpsb661e575.jpg

And this in the back, this a really bad picture (it's a picture of a copy I took to my hairstylist) but the best I could do....

20130310_185225_zpse2ed7cd6.jpg

Minus the tatt's of course! It's so stinkin cute!!! Even if I do say so myself!! :goodvibes I'm not sure if I'll go that short in the front this next time, but I really love the hair cut!! It's so sassyaaa! "My hair's so now!!"

I also found another cute visor to replace my old white one that wasn't really white any more. :scared: It's really cute, it's trimmed with a sort of teal green and looks great with my blue and green dress. Okay, so it doesn't look great with the dress, but it goes as well as it's going to be for something that I need to keep the sun out of my face.

I think I'm doing pretty well on the clothes front!! I think I figured out I really only need about four more outfits and I'm all set!! I think I want to find something Paris inspired for one of my Epcot days and I'm not sure exactly what for the DHS days, probably the sparkly tanks, I think glitz is the way to go when you are in old Hollywood, don't you think?

I'd love some ideas if anyone has them, I know it's silly to try and theme my clothes, but it's part of the fun I have when I'm going. Mackie isn't so into theming this time, so I have to do it somewhere's!
1sm238howdysmiley.gif

Oh! That's right! I need to have something Texas to wear one of the days, I guess I'll have to find a shirt that represents Texas or the Aggie's. You have to represent when you are there at least one day. :teeth:

I almost forgot! I also ordered some shoes for my Mother's Day dress, three pair from zappos. After looking for almost two hours at Dillards the other day I didn't find one single pair that seemed right. At least not one's that weren't over three inches tall. :scared: And that was after being granted favor to walk in the back room where the shoes live so I could look at aaaaall the gold shoes that are all together. (I felt so special) Out of the three I ordered two are a dark purple and one is a gold pair, I sure hope to heaven one of them works out. I'll be sure to take pics when I get them.

So, a few more pair cute capris, maybe a dress or two more, a couple of tops and I'm all done!! At least that's all I can think of for now. Mackie might need a few other things, but for the most part I'm doing rather well. I owe it all to the Big Guy, He's been looking out for me every step of the way.
Of course, y'all know as a woman I have the right to change my mind at any given time, you just never know when the mood might strike to find a few more things before the trip get's here.

Wow what a great shopping expedition! I'm definitely a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl at theme parks, but I love how you theme your outfits to each different park :thumbsup2 And those dresses are really cute, and your new hairstyle too... you're going to look awesome!

Thank you Lana, that's very sweet of you to say. I hope I look okay on the trip, the hair is taking some getting use to, at least the styling it part. :)

Typically I'm not a dress kinda gal, but then I've been a weight I didn't like for 20 years now, so I'm breaking out of the box and trying out the dresses!
Who knows, maybe they will be cooler and more comfy to wear. :goodvibes

Love all the dresses, Camille...you did great. I've never been a big one on wearing dresses to the parks, but I've bought a couple of sundresses since we are going in August this time and it might be a little too hot for jeans shorts and t-shirts.

I hear you on the swimsuit. I've not evven started looking for one for our June trip. I guess I best get over to Sears and look at their Lands End department soon.
