I am doing alright. I'm two weeks post op, and I was supposed to be walking two-three days after surgery.
Ha. Ha ha.
I'm in physical therapy and still using one crutch. It is possible that I'll be able to drive in the next 1-2 weeks. There are days when I see the silver lining. Time at home is nice, even if the toddler is exhausting. And it really gives me an opportunity to focus on healthy eating habits since I'm not going anywhere and can easily make all my meals and follow my diet.
But some days are hard. And some days I cry. I can say that rather happily now because that is just life. Anything worth doing can be extremely hard. Now I know why they call it physical therapy.
So I'm on the slow and steady wins the race road, and hope to be back to my chasing after Jack Sparrow status soon!![]()
Awww, bless your heart. Physical therapy can be a real....well, you know!
I know because I've done it twice-possibly a third time if this swelling doesn't go down in my knee soon.
But I can't imagine what it would be like to do after a surgery, I'll be praying for your recovery. Hang in there sweetie.

And by the way.....yea for you on the eating healthy!!
So happy to hear you aren't.
Let me know what I can do for you while you heal, not sure what it could be, but let me know any way!
Is there something here in Texas (that I could send to you) that would cheer you up?

) for a bit of magic. Not only did I soak in some of the magic but I made some new friends with the ladies that work there. One of them said I should apply for a part time job, she thought I would be perfect for it.
I told her how much fun she was going to have!! She looked genuinely shocked to hear me say this and started asking questions. She was worried since her daughter was going blind and would tire out easily and wondered if she should bring her wheelchair. She didn't want her daughter to miss out on a thing since this was a trip to end all trips for her before she could no longer see.
You should so apply for that part-time role! I totally would if there was a
WAHOO for an understanding principal and that she's excited for you too!
