Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

Hey lady! I love your AK plans - I hope you stay cooler and the mystery rash stays away. Of course I'm so excited to see the new FL area too!

I think Boma twice is great - very different foods anyway. We had dinner then breakfast when we stayed there. Love the "more drink than ice" :rotfl: I think we can all relate to a day like that.

Congrats on your weight loss goal! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Things are starting to look better here, BTW - at least on one front. A few more battles to win, but we know God is in control. :goodvibes

Doing well on the training and saving front - just a couple of weeks left of the couch to 5k!

This is great!! :cheer2: I have much admiration for those who do this, I have no ambition to start running yet. I do however have ideas of rowing. ::yes::

Unfortunately being so long away, there's not a lot else I can do for the moment, but I have my trip to Paris in the meantime which is coming along very nicely :thumbsup2

True, but at least you have Paris!! :cool1: Keep up the great work with your couch to 5k!! :thumbsup2

Thank you Tammie. I'm beyond excited to see the new FL, Mackie won't look at any pictures of it as it's progressing, she wants to see it for the first time in person. So, I'm doing the same so we can experience it for the first time together. :goodvibes

So good to hear, you'll have to PM me with the details. :)

Today is a beautiful Fall day, it's 62 and the sky is cast over. It finally feels like Fall here.
smilie_girl_fall.gif

Which is saying something when you live in the mid southern part of Texas.

I'm a lucky girl since I get to have the 3 day weekend to myself, my Mr. Incredible and Mackie are in Houston (of course the weekend AFTER Brook is here :worried:) helping out a family friend by clearing a lot. Well, hubby is, I'm not sure what Mackie will end up doing.
Today they are out on the lake playing on jet skis since this beautiful Fall weather won't catch up to them until tomorrow, the cooler weather on Sunday will make for a perfect day to clear a lot, wouldn't you say?

Since it's such beautiful weather I opened up the house, I love being able to open up the house and smell the fresh air, Spring and Fall are my two favorite times of the year for such a thing, even if it's a bit nippy in the air I still love having the windows open.
However, it seems to be driving my poor :cat: crazy!! :confused3
He loves to be in the windows and smell the outdoor air, but the poor baby can't sleep all day when there's so much to check out with all the windows open!
He just keeps running from window to window and then over to me, meowing at me like he's confused and doesn't know what to do.

This would be a perfect evening for beef vegetable soup, once it hits this time of the year I love making one pot recipes, beef veggie, chili, taco, minestrone w/out the pasta, are some of my top favorite soups. Do y'all have favorite low cal. soup recipes you like to make?
I should break out some of the BOMA (had to slip some Disney in there somewhere) soup recipes :cloud9: to see if any are on the low cal side? Probably one of my favorite things to eat when on property, BOMA soups, can't get enough of them, along with some of the hummus and salads they serve. Oh man, oh man! :goodvibes
This will probably be my favorite place to eat on the trip since I won't have to worry too much about what I'm putting into my body. We end up eating dinner there at least twice per trip. Yes I know....I just told y'all we'd eat there twice in one day.
Mackie and I loooove to eat at BOMA's, even though she's not an adventurous eater (at all), she loves to eat there. I don't know if it's because she can pick what ever she wants and no one is there to tell her she can't have it or to pick something else from the menu or if it's all the wonderful desserts she loves so much.
All I know is any one of my family members is very happy when I tell them I'm making ADR's for this place twice in a trip. ::yes::

Since I'm not doing an PTR update just yet...I will report now that I'm having a sucky week with my weight. :worried: They happen from time to time.
I gained in the middle of the week, but I am back down to the weight I started the week at, so I'm not sure if I'll be meeting my weeks goal or not. This will make two weeks (or is it three) I've not made my goal, but the bright side is....(I think I mentioned this already) I did bump up my weight workout with adding one more all over body set of reps, which means I'm up to four sets of reps. now and I'm already seeing a difference!! :cool1:
I can tell in my arms already, and I'm hoping I'm not seeing things, but I think I'm seeing a difference in my legs already. Thank Goodness!! That part of my body seems to be taking the longest to get with the program, the thighs and hiney don't always like to get with the program as fast as one would like. :rolleyes2
I really shouldn't complain or knock my progress since I'm light years away from what I started out like. ::yes:: I can't imagine being a size 24 in the big girls dept. vs. the regular women's dept. in a size 14 is anything to sneeze at.
WOW! When you actually see it written out....I have come a long way!!!
I did manage to find some p.j.'s again this week, I'm excited because I'm actually getting into some of the Disney p.j.'s that I had longed to get into!! I'll get some pics of them and show them to you when I get the chance. :)

Well, I better get. I need to get to the store and get the items I need to make some yummy soup!! :lovestruc It's soup weather, people!! :goodvibes

Be blessed and have a wonderful weekend. I do hope to get on here and get a PTR update soon. Stay tuned. :upsidedow

It is soup season! We love pizza soup, chili, chicken and dumplings and African chicken stew. Yum!!! And healthy too.

10 sizes. Wow!!!! Just remember if you are concerning to muscle it weighs more and hat may be some of what you are seeing.

I would love to have your pizza and African chicken soup recipes. :) If you don't mind sharing. :flower3:

I'm hoping you are right about the muscle. This was my concern when I started the additional reps., in the long run it should pay off big. :goodvibes

I will share both recipes, once I'm back at a computer. Inches are a great measurement for conversion, total weight cam go up or remain flat but inches go down.

Btw super cool on the pjs !

Looking forward to it!! :goodvibes And thank you about the pj's, it's hard to break out of the rut of not expecting anything to fit.

Camille, all I can say is that is absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cool1::cool1::cool1::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Nice job Camille! As Cynthia said, if you are building muscle that could be some of the weight gain/leveling off. I think you are doing a great job!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm sure you will continue to shed pounds!!!!!! :)

I'm hopping on board. I'll go back to read all of your details when I get the chance, but congratulations on hitting the 60 pound mark. That's huge! Very awesome. :thumbsup2

Thank you Tim, read above. :goodvibes :flower3: I think you're right, I'm pretty sure I'm losing inches, even my mom said something about me looking thinner than from the week before.

And thank you so much for your kind words. Congrats to you, girl! You've been doing it too, and you look fantastic!! ::yes::

I haven't shown any pics on here yet, only a few Dis brothers and sisters have seen how far I've come. I kinda want to save the reveal for closer to the end of the PTR.

Well, scratch the idea of watching Maroo experience the new FL for the first time!! :rotfl:

She's there right now!! And she's having a ball, or as she's saying..."I'm all Disney geeked out!!" She's been on LM twice, she was even stuck in the que on the second go around and she was pleased as punch about it! :lovestruc Said it gave her the time to soak it all in that time, and without taking pictures. :cloud9:

She was able to go into Belle's Story Time yesterday and I believe she's going into it again as we speak. ::yes::

I'm so excited for her!! :goodvibes No person is more deserving of having a great time and doing it just for herself this time. :lovestruc

Oh how fun!! That's great!

So kinda a big week this week...

Maroo went to WDW this weekend with a cousin I believe, and had a really great time! She got to be part of historic events with the soft opening of the new FL!! :cool1: She was beyond excited to be there and to partake in what will go down in her history books as beyond epic, to say the least.

It was a quicky trip, but enough to wet her appetite for our trip!! :cheer2: She called me even before ME got to her resort, she was already hitting the Disney depression wall and wanting to talk plans/ideas for our May trip!!

We talked a little bit while she was in the airport waiting on her time to get to her plane, and we hit on several topics already. We're still mulling some ideas around, probably not a lot will change, but some of it may. I'll certainly keep you posted.

Also this week.....

I finally got our rooms booked!!

We got a 30% off PIN for our dates, so I took the plunge and had Brook book our rooms!! pixiedust: I couldn't be more excited!! I told Maroo while she was in her glory as she was adventuring in the new FL. :woohoo:

:offtopic:

I didn't make my weight goal this week, but I'm okay with it. I know now (looked back over my journal) this is what my body does when I'm adding muscle. I'm not gaining, at least nothing that stays more than a day, thank goodness, I also usually end up dropping inches during this time. So I'm just pushing forward and keeping up with what I know I need to do. :thumbsup2

Oh, also I finally took some pictures of the p.j.'s I told you I would take...

Not the best staging, but at least you get to see what I found so far, sorry it took me so long. :)

I forgot to mention, only one pair of these pj's are mine. The first picture on the left are mine, the rest are for Mackie.

On to park plans!!

Day 7 and our Sixth day in the parks, except today happens to be Mother's Day, so no parks today! :flower3:

This is Maroo's day to leave :sad1:, (tentatively) I'm not for certain if Poolrat (Pat) will have gotten to the world by now or not. :confused3 I hate not knowing this for sure since this makes me sound like a bad friend for not knowing when my friend arrives into the "World." But she hasn't gotten the 411 on her DVC room dates (I'm probably saying that wrong ), so as of now I will just say we think Pat will be here, in fact she may have been here already by a couple of days, but like I said....we don't know for sure, yet.

The plan as of now will be Maroo getting up fairly early, I would imagine, to get out the door and on the road or to get up and getting her stuff packed to wait on ME. :confused3 Not for sure just yet if she's driving or flying.

As for Mackie and myself we will be sleeping in some and then getting up to get dressed up for......

The Grand Floridian for...

Yipper! Mackenzie and I have decided we need to dress up (in dressy dresses she says :crazy2: ;)) and go to the GF and have tea. I'm very much looking forward to it, I've been wanting to do this for a while now and now we have the chance!! The first tea time doesn't start until 2 so I'm not sure if we'll head to DTD first to skulk around and have some breakfast or if we'll just hang out at the resort until we have to leave. Hard to say, I hear we should book our ADR close to 3 so we can hear the piano playing in the lobby.

Hmmm....:scratchin Now that I'm thinking about it more, I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with our morning before going to our Tea time.
I'm not one who likes to just sit around when I'm in a place I can be out exploring in. Not my style to just sit and have nothing to do, at least not when I'm on vacation, if I want to sit and do nothing I can stay home! Naaa, I need to be out and about!! ::yes::

If Mackie wants to dress up, dress up then I'm not to keen on walking around a lot to get all icky and sweaty, then again that will happen the second we walk out the door to go to the buses, sooooo "Suck it up Nancy!"
I suggested swimming and then getting ready, Mackenzie said it's more fun to go swimming with a friend. Ooookay, no guilt there, swimming is out.
We could always go to DTD to eat breakfast at WGPE like I've always wanted to do and mentioned earlier, but we're going there that evening after we have tea and go back to the resort to change into our comfy clothes. We'll have a full evening doing DTD stuff....should we go twice?!? Any suggestions on y'alls part? This is probably what we'll end up doing, but other suggestions would be welcomed. ::yes::

So there y'all have it! That's our day in a nutshell!

We'll have a day and evening in DTD eating and shopping our until our little hearts are content and then have a decent early turn in and wake up refreshed and ready for our next day. It's always good to have a little break in your park days.
Hopefully Poolrat will have had a great day, I invited her to come and partake in tea, but she said it's a Mom and daughter thing, so we'll maybe catch up with her later than evening. :)

Howdy Miss Millie!

It seems every time I sit down to read your PTR, I never quite made it to the latest update without interruption. But today, I was able to get through them all. Well...I did skip the shoe installment...for the obvious reasons.

Anyway, it sounds like you are planning quite the hootenanny and I hope you all have have a fantastic time.

You will love the Tea. Just did it on Saturday and it is delicious!

Maybe explore a resort or two that you want to look at and then go get ready for your tea? Where did you end up booking your reservations? Did that change?

The tea sounds lovely for you and Mackie (certainly not something I would ever get my husband to do ;)).
