Um, houston, I think we have a problem!

Ok, I had everything planned out , except the airfare. (My DH has always handled this with using miles and we have never had a problem until now. ) The times when we can fly do not coincide with our time share dates. We could still get tickets (for October 8-14) and our unit is available (October 4-11) Ok, so what now? We have thought of adding two days, renting a car and driving. We have also thought about just "pricelining" a resort. I have even checked into staying on property @ WDW. (If I could figure out HOW to get a GREAT rate, this would be my first choice.) Am I missing any other options???? Help me please! My DH will be turning 40 on this trip and I would love for it to be stress free, not stressful!!! I am begging!!!!

I would just drive, you live closer them my family and we always drive. The drive is actually pretty enjoyable.

We live in KY too and we drive. Even after renting the car and paying for gas we still came out WAY ahead versus paying airfair. It's only a one day drive - about 13 hours - and with 2 drivers it really wasn't all that bad. We stoped when we wanted to stop and got to see a lot of cool things on the way. We are leaving again on Oct 19 and I can't wait !!!

How much are you hoping to spend on accommodations? You could rent a townhouse or villa.

Most people on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions forum like to stay in Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Isle or other places in the Formosa Gardens area of Kissimmee. If you need something more inexpensive, Grand Palms and the Lindfields community have some of the least expensive options for villa rentals.
