So, I've read conflicting reports on how easy/hard it is to get your Ultimate tickets put onto your KTTW card if you bought them seperately. Some say its down to the CM, some say the resort, others say it depends on whether you have vouchers or physical tickets. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I was planning on buying the tickets from the Disney Store because you get physical tickets, but I'll just do it online to get an e-voucher if that makes it easier.

Like all things Disney it depends on the CM on the day! I would get the actual tickets the. If you can't get them on the KTTW you don't have to stop at a ticket booth at the park to swap vouchers.

TBH we have APs and it's no hassle having seperate tickets in fact as we have charging on KTTW I feel it is safer in my purse :goodvibes

They wouldn't put it on our KTTW card. We had to carry those flimsy cardboad types around for 3 weeks and ended up having to ask for replacements twice because they just stopped working!!!

Last time I stayed onsite I only had a 7 day pass so I think they put it on no problem. I suppose its not the end of the world if they cant do it this time round, I just worry about the cardboard ones getting wet and things which is why I'd prefer them on the card. I suppose I can try a couple of CMs if the first one says no :thumbsup2

The card ones are a special material - our last APs were used for 42 days park entries and we still had the orginal ones working no problem. According to CMs the KTTW cards get de-magnatised more often that the card one.

I think it comes down to if you bought a package. When we've done a package, the tickets came on teh KTTW, when we bought things seperately the CM was unable to put the tickets on the key.

I hope this helps.

If you do end up with them not on your KTTW,take a macro photo of the details on the back or photocopy them.keep these safe and if you loose them you have the details to show disney, they will cancel the old ticket and issue new ones. have had this happen to DMil once and we had all the details so there was no problem getting new
