Wow, I found the most useful thing in the world today on Amazon, it's a gel cooler to keep my bottle of wine cold. It should be with me in a couple of days :thumbsup2

Let the partying begin !! :)

Does everyone know what time their train is getting in ? (and I'll add it to the first page)

Nat & I ~ 11.30am Birmingham to Cardiff Central arr. 1.32pm

Roll on next Friday :yay:
I'll be on your train, Mand - boarding at Gloucester at 12.22pm. My plan is to let you have my mobile number so that you can text me and let me know what carriage you're in. Hope that's OK. :goodvibes

Morning Ladies

Well this time next week will be day 1 of our girly weekend, where we drink, drink, drink, eat, oh yes and drink, drink and drink:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Im off work today as Im going for some tests on my heart, had my appointment at the hospital with the specilist yesterday and it was'nt as good as news as I would have hoped for, however Im not going to let it dampen my spirits for next week. In a nutshell I have Arrhythmias of the heart, extra heart beats, that in its self is quite common, however tests have shown that my heart is also beating very slow, esp when resting and missing quite a few beats. Going forward this may mean that I might have to have a pacemaker fitted, but more tests will confirm this.

However good news is that he told me to carry on and to do everything that I normally do, which includes having a great time next weekend and drinking and eating.:thumbsup2 The only thing that Im never to take is any type of drug for Blood Pressure, Any Anti- Depressents and No- Anti Anxiety medication as this would slow my heart beat down even further and I would pass out, which is now what explains my sudden waking up on the bathroom floor after merrily just sitting on the loo about 6 years ago when I was being treated for anxiety and panic attacks:rotfl: and no I was'nt drunk;)

So let this weeks planning commence, Im so looking forward to seeing you all:thumbsup2

Just to let you know, with regards to walking, on the Friday and Saturday night, the only walking will be from your hotel to the bay itsself, which takes about 5-6 mins, so all new shoes should be ok. Those wishing to venture into Cardiff town centre on either night again would have to have Taxi's, as Ive said before, Town is not my cup of tea, however if you wish to go clubbing, you will need to make your way to town.

We are eating quite early on the Friday at 7, as they have 2 dining seatings, 7pm and 9pm, (its like being on the cruise Mand;) ) and 9 was full, so there are loads of bars for after to go into, most open until 1-2am, and I am still trying to get us into The Glee club afterwards- The Glee Club is a comedy club, nowhere near the scale of Jonglers, and it starts quite early while we are dining, but they have a really cheesy disco from about 10pm to 1am, so my friend is trying to find out if we can get in there for free after the comedy acts have finished. After all we would be buying drinks at the bar so they would still be getting money out of us, however that is not a definate yet.

Saturday day will be a different matter as you will all need to get into the town centre, although walkable it would take about 25 mins, so I advise either the bus or Taxi's between you all. You will then be walking if your shopping as well. Cardiff is going through a major major uplift with a brand new shopping centre being built at the moment, so there are major roadworks and diversions for pediestrians and traffic alike every where are the moment, so comfy footwear strongly advised for the day.

I think thats it for now:thumbsup2

Catch you all later:banana:

Right girls

Just looking at your arrival times and seeing how I can get you all to the hotel, I think Jules may be the first to arrive at around 1ish, Is that right hon??

So I will meet Jules, and then probably grab a coffee with her, until Mandy, Nat and Deb get in at 1.32, then take the first lot to the hotel. I will then come back for Kaylee and Tam for 2.43/2.48.

Joh, Theresa, and Claire can you confirm your arrival time into Cardiff for me, so I can see what time to pick you up. Karen I know you are arriving later than the others I think hon, and were happy to have a cab to the hotel, Is that correct????

Mandy & Nat ~ 11.30am Birmingham to Cardiff Central arr. 1.32pm/Sunday leave 11.50am
Kaylee ~ 11.25am Plymouth to Cardiff Central arr. 2.43pm/
Tam ~ 1.19pm Kemble to Cardiff Central arr. 2.48/
Deb ~ 12.22pm Gloucester to Cardiff Central arr. 1.32pm (with Mandy & Nat)

Hi Everyone, sorry like Jules I can't get on here as much anymore :sad1: but I'm very excited about next weekend.

Theresa and I are coming by car, and we are both working in the morning so are eta is between 1600 & 1700 i'd say depending on traffic.

At the moment I'm not sure whether I'll get the train or drive, Sue - either way I'll be making my own way to the hotel. If train, I think that gets in at around 4.45pm so no later than 5pm methinks... :thumbsup2
