Hi everyone, just popped in quickly to let you know I am not being a party pooper by not joining in, just got back from the hospital, Ian is poorly and his GP sent him there, thye have let him hope to change out of his work clothes, and then I have to take him back to start him on an antibiotic drip, I am like a wreck, I will speak to you all later xx
have a great time everyone, be good![]()
Thanks everyone
I got back about half an hour ago. He got up this morning for work, he leaves before I get up, he came up to say goodbye as he always does, but the bedroom was quite dark, so I couldn't see him properly. He phoned me later in the morning to tell me that his face was swollen, and that he was going to the GP after work (he never goes to the doctors). The GP was baffled and referred him to the hospital, who to be honest also seem baffled, his face is swollen up and the right side is numb. They said they needed to keep him in, but I was mortified as he was dirty from work, so I asked could he come home to wash and change, they let him, but he had to go straight back. So, he is now in ward 6, hooked up to an antibiotic drip, and is having a CAT scan tomorrow. He doesn't make a lot of noise but it is very quiet here without him...

Ladies, I hate to be a party pooper but I'm going to pull out of the Girly weekend. I've just enrolled at Greenwich University to study for a degree in Criminology and Criminal Psychology and after my first half-week I'm absolutely knackered so I could really do with relaxing this weekend and getting my head straight before starting at 9am on Monday morning with a Law lecture for goodness sake!!! I am desperately sorry to leave you all in the lurch but I'm so exhausted already - I'm just not used to real life it seems...
I feel really sad now I've explained - I was very much looking forward to getting together with you all. I'm sorry to be an inconvenient pain in the ar$ and I hope everyone has a wonderful, fabulous time...
Lots of love to you all,
Karenxxx
