Uhhh I Hate Pills!

GOd Today Was Like The First Ever Day I Had To Swallow A Pill.. IT WAS TERRIBLE MY DAD BROUGHT HOME ME THOSE DUMBO PILLS CAUSE I HAVE A SORE THROAT SO I HAD TO SWALLOW IT BUT I HAVE NEVER SWALLOWED A PILL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE SO HE WAS YELLING AT ME TO SWALLOW.. I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING WHY DIDNT YOU JUST CRUSH IT UP? OH BECAUSE YOUR NOT SUPPOSED OR BITE IT EITHER.. GOD THE PILL WAS LIKE AN INCH LONG AND 5 CENTIMETERS WIDE. AFTER STRUGGLING FOR 20 MAYBE 10 MINUTES MY BROTHER TOLD ME TO JUST BITE IT AND IT TASTED HORRIBLE I STILL HAVE THE TASTE IN MY MOUTH! GREAT NOW IM PROBABLY GONNA HAVE TO SWALLOW ANOOTHER PILL TOMORROW CAUSE THEIRS LIKE 10 OF THEM! GOSH DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS? TO SWALLOW PILLS? IM GOING CRAZY! ARGGGG!

once, my sister put the pill in a big bowl of ice cream and swallowed it without knowing. I really hope your throat feels better.

Just put it in your mouth then drink some(or a lot) of water, that should help it go down better. Hope you feel better, it seems like the sore throat/ cold is going around.

I Was Trying That LOL With Lime Coke Which Tastes Like Dishwasher Soap To me.. And Tea Which didnt help great but it did make the pill get smaller and disolve it! LOL ill have to keep that one too even though it didnt well work for me Thanks Anyways

Heres my tip.

I can swallow like 4 pills at at time. LOL

Put it at the back of your mouth, then drink water. Water is the best when talking pills.
Then tip your head back and swallow. I always get pills, because one time I had a terrible stomach virus and I chose liquid medicine. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. It tasted like chalk and other worse things. LOL.

i wish i had liquid medicine Yeah Ive Tried That Too .. LOL LUCKY my brother swallows grapes and pills.. its so funny but for some reason i feel like either A: Im Gonna Choke If I Swallow A PILL Or B: Im Gonna Puke And SPit It Out Wish Me Luck And Thanks Any Others LOL?

start out just trying to swallow like a cheerio or two whole (i know it's smaller than a pill, but it'll help you get the idea)........... if you need to take daily vitamins, ask your parents for something like vitamin c pills................ i think they're fairly small, but if you take them on a daily basis, next time you need pill it would be a whole lot easier......... and remember: the longer that thing is in your mouth, the outer coating starts to wear off and it tastes DISGUSTING!!!!! i know..................

I've taken pills for a while now.
It's no biggie, all you need is to swallow it with a drink.

well my tip is DONT GET COLDS!!!! lol well just like some people have said, try practicing every once or so often with something but better yet you can try with one of those orange tick-tacs. they are just like pills and they taste somewhat better also my dad gave me a tip. a few foods that you might want to consider swallong with the pill:
JELLO
PUDDING
APPLE SAUCE
OATMEAL
YOGURT (i had a cold once and i got a pill that looked like this [] except a lot bigger!!!! i reccomend Danimals)

As someone else said take a sip first, then pop in the pill, tip head back, and swallow. I have trouble with gagging if the taste gets to me so i just try to do this as fast as possible. Remember sip pop tip swallow. GL and hope you feel better.

Just don't think about it. It's actually all in your mind. You swallow more food at a time than any pill they make for humans to take.
Take it while eating. Just don't try to chew it. They coat pills for a reason.

I've done this in another way.
Take a drink and hold it, tip your head back and drop the pill and then swallow. The pill will go down with the water and you generally won't even know that you swallowed it.

Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down.

Try dipping the pill in chocolate syrup. LOL

Thanks For The Tips! Im gonna Have To Try These Again If i still have to take that pill! Hehe I feel alot better now that i have some other ways to swallow it i really appreciate it and once again Thanks
