I used to have (in my binder from my last trip) the unadvertised toll free number for disney....

and i can't find my bloody binder!

Help! can anyone pass me the number? either here or on a PM? Thanks! :goodvibes

Sorry, it was disconnected quite some time ago.

You mean the toll-free number that is exclusively for the use of travel agents and/or media? I imagine the one you had has long since been disconnected because the public was using it. Sorry :flower3:

not the travel agent one...there was one i used in 2006 that went right thru. Bummer that they were all disconnected! geeeeeeeeeeez. Now I have to save money to pay for all the phone calls on top of the trip! lol!

I wonder how long before they disconnect that one?

Not long, probably. I wonder how much it costs Disney to inform travel agents and media of the new toll-free number every time they have to change it because the public is using it? Perhaps the money spent factors into price increases? Who knows? :confused3

That line doesn't say anything about travel agents. It's the regular question process that you go through with every other line. It's been working since at least October and still works.

If you could dial a 407 number and cut through all the crap, not sit on hold for ages at a time, and get a straight answer from someone or transferred to the right place at the right time, I wouldn't bother using the toll-free number. But the vacation costs enough. I don't feel in the least guilty using a toll-free if I can find one.

Yep. It works, and it is not for travel agents.
The travel agent line specifies, when you call, that it is an agent line. You must also provite your Iata number before they will speak with you. otherwise they tell you here is the number to call...
Being that I was a travel agent, I could "cheat" and call and use my old agency Iata number, and get all the info I need. But I don't, as I said, it would be cheating.
An active toll free number for the general public is just fine by me.
